Me too. 🙋🏼♀️😩😰 . . Life is HARD. Let’s be real, we ALL have felt completely broken or hopeless at one point or another in our lives. Some of us have been through hell—but we lived through it. That right there is more than some people can say. 🙏🏼 I’m a self-employed, single-mom, with a side-job, with a teen and a preteen with sports and social lives of their own. I have a past. I have a story. They do. We all do. Life has been tough to say the least. Everyone on social media preaches: “SHARE YOUR STORY!” 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ . . . What if you don’t want to? 💁🏼♀️ I’m here to tell you something different. You. Don’t. Have. To. 🚫🚫🚫 You don’t have to share anything you’re not comfortable with. You CAN share your story if you know it will help someone, OF COURSE. I share my life individually one on one, when I believe I can help another person press on through their fear and their pain, and it’s been truly beautiful when the Holy Spirit moves on my heart to share with someone, not because of me or my story, but because God is at the center of it. #AllGloryToGod 🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼 However, for me, I just can’t use mine to profit on. I just can’t. You see, it’s not JUST my story. It doesn’t belong solely to me, and I don’t hate anyone in my story, no matter what they’ve done to me. I don’t believe in hurting someone because they’ve hurt me. . . 💞 I believe in forgiveness. I believe in surviving. I believe in looking to God for strength when I can’t go on. I believe in stepping out of my comfort zone. I believe I am capable of doing great things. I believe YOU are too.
