About Antony Spencer: Anthony has always had a keen interest in photography and started taking photography more seriously in 2007 with the purchase of his first digital SLR. His short time with a digital camera makes his 2010 win of the coveted Landscape Photographer of the Year award all the more remarkable. The prize allowed him to leave his day job and concentrate full time on landscape photography. Antony is based in Dorset and has a passion for capturing the landscape in the best available light wherever and whenever possible. Having lived his whole life in South Wales, he is very passionate about the varied landscape there. He also spends a great deal of time in the Arctic chasing Aurora Borealis and the arctic winter landscape.
