I know some of you parents are stressing about the holidays. Maybe you're worried because you can't make Christmas as magical for your kids as you’d like to, or you feel that you can’t give your kids as much as other kids are getting. I’ve been there. And I had to learn to stop obsessing over all the things I couldn’t provide for my kids and instead, find the little things I could do. We have the power to set the mood, to set tone in our home. #Repost @kristinakuzmic • • • • • So get creative! Grab a bunch of blankets and have a sleepover in the living room. That’s free! Cut a big Christmas tree out of cardboard and have the kids draw decorations on it. Have a Christmas morning dance party with your kids. Blast the music, dance all over the furniture, take silly videos of it… that’s free! And your kids will remember those moments much more than that expensive toy they would have played with for a week and then shoved in the back of the closet and forgotten about. Find the joy, find the humor, find the silly, and focus on what this holiday is all about (and it’s not about how many materialistic things you can provide)! #YouSetTheTone ❤ https://www.instagram.com/p/BrmXiX-A6Dg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1suolr2p8eli5
