Timeless Wisdom: 45 Profound Quotes from King Solomon
I’ve been on vacation this week just hanging around the house. I thought time off would help me get myself in gear, figure out what I want to do and get a plan going... something! But I got sick the first day and haven’t felt well the whole time and then I got depressed because I felt like the week was just wasting away. Then today I watched a video and pulled some gems from it that made me feel so much better. It might sound silly but yeah, sometimes God, The Universe, the Great Beyond, The Cosmic Enchilada, The Wonder of Wonders, whatever you want to call it... sometimes messages get sent in weird and unexpected ways.
“Sometimes you just have to do something else, a little change of scenery that’s gonna improve your whole day.”
“Pop the bubble that unlocks the future! What does that even mean.”
“When life presents you a fun gate to walk through, walk through it! Don’t hesitate!”
“You should just be a weirdo with me! It’s a lot of fun, it’s very liberating.”
Thanks, Bunny, the Cosmic Enchilada is speaking through you! <3
Lastly....why would anyone WANT there to be an eternal afterlife?? Can you imagine anything more hellish? I think most people never actually deeply think about what that would entail. Imagine living for 500 quadrillion years and realizing you're only 0% of the way through your infinite life. You'd lose your fucking mind after the first 1,000 years...if not far sooner....let alone after 100 octillion years and counting. And on top of that...it's a life of zero struggle, zero challenge, zero transgressive fun, zero creativity, zero growth, zero hardship, zero finality...and therefore zero point or meaning.
