Socks, I must be missing something. I can't find the movie link anywhere. Can you post it again?
The link isn’t up yet! I’ll post it in a few minutes, though, don’t worry!

The 3rd pic from your Nevarra != Spain post looks like walking up to Petra (in Jordan) through the Siq. To the point that I think they were deliberately trying to invoke that, because the resemblance is startling.
Okay whoa you weren’t kidding
yslanam replied to your post: trying to think as i work on asl if sign language...
re: jodi and kent, the diverse stardew valley mod gives kent a hearing aid. you could just sort of extend that into him knowing/learning sign language
oh im going off the vanilla game cause thats all i do (my comp cant handle a lot else) but thats a really cool idea!
A game that holds a special place in your heart? (other than Dragon Age, if there are any)
Dang, it's a slight tie between two games, but I'm going to have to say Jak and Daxter. The Precursor Legacy was the first game I played on a console and I instantly fell in love with it. The characters, the world, the story, it was and still is an amazing game to me.
Plus, Jak is a badass.
I've been seeing a lot of your art through gallifreyburning and it's so lovely and expressive! I don't listen to the Gallifrey audios so I never know what's going on, but it always makes me happy to see your art on my dash. Thanks for sharing it on tumblr!
Omg, thanks a lot! c:
I'm looking for a specific DW fanvid and can't find it - was hoping you could help? It was a recap of 9 & 10's eras and Come Sail Away played when they recruited their companions, All By Myself played when they left, with other songs sprinkled in. After 9 regenerated, he watched 10 on a tv and 10 joined him after his own regeneration. Does any of that ring a bell?
It does! I can’t link you because youtube doesn’t really work here but it was called the Tenth Doctor Musical or Tenth Doctor: The Musical or a variation thereupon. Probably the best DW vid I ever saw lol very funny
I need some disability advice, tumblr mom. 4 years ago I was dx'd w/ a chronic condition that causes back pain. Now I'm trying to get an ergonomic chair at work and my office is giving me the runaround, pointing me to reasonable accommodations who keep pointing me back to the regular process, and I don't know if I count as disabled for ADA purposes. How do I get somebody to decide whether I do? I can't find any info about this and I'd like to stop running in circles.
1) Get a prescription from your doctor for the chair (you should be able to do this, just tell them you need a written prescription for the chair for work to provide it).
2) Provide a copy to HR, and follow up with an email to ask for confirmation it was received and explain your current issues with having the situation remedied. Phrase it as ‘I’m sure there’s something I’m missing, how do I do this correctly?’ cc your current manager and if you know your HR rep, cc them directly and send it to whatever general HR mailbox you have. Ask for an ETA on having this fulfilled. Open a folder in your email and keep copies of everything. If you have copies of all the emails you have already sent? Send those to HR, too.
3) Follow up on that ETA and ask for progress when 1/3 of the time has lapsed and again when 2/3 of the given time has lapsed. (If it’s less than a week, just follow up once, halfway through).
4) Then you can start escalating it through HR, if they miss their ETA or become non-responsive. Make sure you keep your current manager cc’d through the process.
With a written prescription, you absolutely do count as disabled for the purposes of the ADA. You may or may not be accommodated without one, but the easiest way to cut through the bullshit is to get a doctor to write on a piece of paper ‘This is needed for them to work, get it for them.’
Good luck. <3 Keep me updated!
Hello! I've got a song that makes me think of Shiro and I need to tell someone who will appreciate that. What Are You Waiting For by Disturbed. In the 2nd verse there's this bit: "Say goodbye to anyone who tries to bleed you dry; you will show them you're blessed with an unlimited supply" and I always picture Shiro just powering through everything life throws at him.
NICE
