If you've made an odysee channel as a back up for YouTube or have decided to exclusively post to odysee, to get anything out of it, you need to let people know that you have an odysee channel.
There are YouTubers who have an odysee, but don't let their subscribers know because they're still relying heavily on YouTube.
Understandable.
YouTube has no competition and everyone posts there! All the content is there!
I've reached a point in my life where there's nothing to watch on YouTube (I've grown out of it) and I'm tired of watching. I want to do, like I used to when I was younger and a lot less fearful.
I've filmed many videos for YouTube and they sit untouched on my harddrive, because YouTube hasn't felt like a comfortable place for me to express myself. I fall back into the hustle and grind habit and I start hating creating again.
That's why I made an odysee channel. It's currently the best alternative to YouTube for people that want to post within their means. For viewers though, it's trash. I'm hoping that those like myself who are truly trying to make something out of this alternative will change that.
