MidCin boys and feathers AU
look okay, if i just had the art skills, i would draw the boys with wings like -
feathery wings, white,brown,spotted,gray,red,black,ombre-like, feathers that have three colors - or five, let’s go all out- with plummage that shines whenever the sun hits it a certain angle. HUGE WINGS, probably almost as tall as they are because you would need the wingspan to carry that much weight. Imagine what kind of wings they would have - for zooming?gliding? will it be like a hawk? albatross? eagle? sparrows?
Imagine the clothes they would wear and how it would complement their plumage, IMAGINE THEM when they were molting holyshit feathers everywhere, their manors littered with wings and for a point in time some of them probably hated it because haveyoutried tasting plucked feathers? ew
imagine everyday life of the boys with wings and man its gonna be harder to hide from Giles or Albert because youre gonna require hella lot more space and speed bUT THEN ALSO IT COULD be easier because just zoom zoom gone! Or hell, maybe they have a no-flying time during workhours so everyone is settled
Imagine Nico would probs push Albert from a cliff just for the lols and Byron spreading his wings with baby Al and Nico taking shelter from the rain when they were young. Albert would have a regimen for keeping his wings clean and looking the best and im not saying that Nico needs to take lessons on that but cmon he doesnt have time to waste when he can just dive into a lake and zoom back up like its NOTHING (water pressure/physics/gravity be damned). AND FOR ALL OF robert’s artsy skills, he’s got the purest whitest shiniest wings ever? and the only colors on them are paint and it’s a mess but honestly when you see him after he’s finished a piece, youre mesmerized because his wings complement the art piece just cmon lets get the paint off you buddy
Legit Giles probably carries his wings best (im not biased), Louis second, YOU DONT DRAG YOUR WINGS BEHIND YOU LIKE an uncultured swine LEOOO stop it, carry your wings, I’M LOOKING AT YOU SID. Number one lesson, know how to carry them with a dignified air. Think of how strong those shoulders are tho. Both Sid and Alyn probably have a few feathers missing occasionally because of work hazards. Imagine them trying to sit with those things. Imagine them trying to sleep with those things? HOW?? DAnce lessons include rocking your pair of wings nice
AND IT LEADS TO DANCING IN THE AIR because flying?? Need some alone time so you just zoom into god knows what part of the country?? KIDNAPPING MCs now include nets holyheck. Fighting while flying? Imagine how much time Byron would spend gliding up in the sky at night time like Spinner. Imagine Nico perfecting his suave little twirl before landing with one knee like he’s read in the stories. Imagine how many times Leo has stared at his wings because they remind him of his parents. Imagine Louis affectionately patting Lucia because as beautiful as his wings are (we all know LOuis is the gorgeous one) it’ll never be as pretty as Lucia. I know i know it’s such a goddamn cliche, beautiful boys with equally gorgeous wings but you have to admit it works like a freaking charm
