Okay so, Kija becomes a tiny cat for whatever reason (maybe it’s a magic Ryokuryuu scale ;D) & the duty of taking care of him somehow falls to Jae-ha & Shinah, maybe because Shinah is already accustomed to taking care of small, cute things & Jae-ha insists on being the “big brother” who keeps tabs on Shinah & newly-kittenized Kija. (in reality, Jae-ha just really likes kittens & doesn’t want anyone to know that he’s actually a MAJOR SAP--Shinah’s the only one who can know because he probably won’t speak of it to anyone)

So. First hour of kitten!Kija mostly consists of Shinah getting to know this new Kija, figuring out what he likes & dislikes & trying to communicate with him, while Jae-ha is already on the prowl for everything he can find that a kitten would play with. He’s already completely forgotten that Kija might still have his consciousness as a human being despite being in cat form.  Second hour, Yun has made food for the kitten, so Shinah is feeding Kija & keeping P’kyuu from getting jealous.  Meanwhile, Jae-ha is lying on the ground, watching kitten Kija eat, & dying internally over how damn cute this kitten is.  Third & fourth hours are literally just full of Jae-ha holding the kitten & cuddling with him whenever no one else is looking.

By, like, the 6th hour or w/e, Jae-ha & Shinah are finally left all alone with kitten!Kija.  Commence play time.  Jae-ha makes a giant fool of himself, playing with this little kitten who still kinda has a dragon’s claw.  Shinah is actually completely speechless, because he has never seen Jae-ha so uncool before. Kija is still self-aware, regardless of his current form, & is FURIOUS, because how dare Jae-ha treat him like this!!!! He bats at all the impromptu-toys & tries to scratch at Jae-ha’s face, but Jae-ha mistakes it for playing & is definitely using the fact that he’s currently 20x Kija’s size to his own benefit.  Eventually Shinah is like “ok. kija is obviously uncomfortable. time 2 stop.” He takes Kija & keeps him away from Jae-ha.  Kija is humiliated.

Unfortunately for Kija, the rest of the group is pretty damn okay with him staying like this. Only Yun is actually worried about him never returning to being a human, but even Yun is swayed by how cute Kija is as a kitten. Kija is devastated.  It’s noticeable, because by the time it’s bedtime, Shinah has become worried, because Kija will barely move, & doesn’t react to any petting or toys. Jae-ha sits down next to Shinah & suggests, jokingly, that maybe Kija is sad because he can’t protect his ~dear master~ in his current form.  He’s basically hit the nail on the head.  Kija mews to let Jae-ha know that he’s right.  Jae-ha dies again because that was so!!! cute!!!!!!  Shinah suggests, though, that maybe they really need to find a solution & return Kija, because Shinah is kinda starting to miss his big brother Kija.  Jae-ha snaps back to reality & promises Shinah that Kija will definitely come back, one way or another. He’s too stubborn to leave his so-called family behind.  Jae-ha takes his chance and picks up the kitten and kisses him on the head, saying that he would really mind having such a cute Kija around.  Jae-ha lays down to sleep, kitten Kija in hand, and Shinah joins them, because he wants to stay close to his brother.  Shinah & Jae-ha look like happy cat parents.  Don’t question it.  They fall asleep like that.

Badaboom, Kija wakes up the next morning a human, and is being snuggled by both Shinah & Jae-ha.  He’s torn between waking Jae-ha up & throttling him for how he treated Kija as a kitten, or just going back to sleep and enjoying his time with Shinah & Jae-ha.  He opts for the latter.

Spectrophobia - Jaeha

Spectrophobia – fear of ghosts and phantoms (thanks satan)

== spoilers for Jae-ha’s past and warnings for mentions of child abuse==

They come through the walls. They cling to his chains, crying and begging to be set free. They are nothing but dreadful voices and faded images of skinny or mutilated bodies, and they never touch Jae-ha, but they hover over Garou, whispering things Jae-ha is sure he will hear one day when he has a successor.

They are the spirits of previous Ryokuryuu. Garou claims he can’t see them, but Jae-ha always notices the way he flinches at the mere mention of them. On days when Garou is nice and stable, he’ll hold Jae-ha close when they’re sleeping, and spirits who wasted away as children appear, telling Jae-ha how lucky, how very lucky, he is to have a kind predecessor. On days when Garou doesn’t know who he is anymore, they scream at deafening levels all throughout the night, and Jae-ha thinks he can see blood on the floor.

Whenever he breaks the chains, they curse him. How dare he think he can escape, when so many before him never could?! How dare he leave them behind, all alone in a shitty little hut full of the dead? He has to take them with him! He rarely gets very far, because Garou is still alive and is able to tug him back down and beat him until he can’t move. On those nights, they all laugh at him, because he is such a hilarious fool.

They don’t stop haunting him until he finally manages to run away (at the cost of another dead Ryokuryuu).  In Awa, he sleeps peacefully, no spirits to come through the walls and cling to his chains (not that he has any of those anymore). But, sometimes, he hears cries when no one is around. Sometimes, his body is heavy. Sometimes, he knows they’re there. He will never escape them. He will never be free of them. So is the curse of the only Ryokuryuu to ever survive outside the village.

Captive: Screamtone Fighter

This is just a little something I wrote up, explaining how Voron and Green ended up taking the esteemed Priestess of the Screamtone Fighter universe captive.

Preview: 

If someone had told Aiya that someone could be accidentally taken hostage, Aiya might have laughed at that person and called them insane, but insanity was turning out to be the perfect way to describe how that day had turned out.

               The day Yu Aiya was accidentally taken hostage, she counted it as the all-time low of her life.

               As Priestess of the world, besides conveying the words of the Gods and protecting and curing those afflicted with Screamtones, one of her other duties was to care for the flock. Meaning that she went to those towns with the greatest afflictions and cared for them by cooking or treating those who most needed her attention. Aiya had been in one of those towns, taking care of her people, on her way to meet with her greatest friend Buri in order to begin their quest of defeating the Screamtones once and for all. And when night began to fall she started to look for a place to sleep, and that was when she was called out by a man, dressed in black. He carried a sheathed weapon, but from the way he carried himself didn’t seem to be looking for a battle.  

               “Hey.” He greeted, “Do you have any more food?”

               “Well... yeah. But not much.”

               “But you can cook, right?” The man asked and Aiya just stared at him, unsure of how she was supposed to answer.

               “Well yes but…”

               “Do you think you could cook something for me?”

               “Listen I’ve kind of got to go—“

               It was just as she was quickly hurrying past the man that she tripped, sealing her fate as she tumbled half way down a ditch and conked her head on the ground, knocking herself out.

               When Aiya woke up a little while later, she was laying down somewhere, her temples were pounding, which wasn’t helped at all by the voices arguing nearby.

               “You deviant!” A woman’s voice came, followed by a yelp by the familiar voice of the man dressed-in-black from before.

               “How the hell am I the deviant?” The man demanded.

               “Bringing an unconscious woman home to your partner, expecting her to be housed and cared for! You are the enemy of all womankind!”  

               “For Gods’ sake Green! STOP ACTING LIKE YOU’RE SOME SORT OF JILTED LOVER!”  

               “I mean if you wanted to spread your wings and soar into the horizon of perversion, then you should have just told me! I totally would have helped!”  

               “…being with you is exhausting, you realize that right?”

               “Oh, she’s waking up!” The woman said and Aiya opened her eyes to see a girl, her brown eyes peeking over the huge glasses upon her face. A cool cloth was placed upon her forehead as the girl smiled brightly at her. “Hi. How are you feeling?”

               “My head is killing me.” Aiya groaned, trying to get up but the girl pushed her back down, before bowing respectfully.

               “Well, you tripped and fell down a gully. You should rest for now.” The girl said, “My name is Green. The grumpy man with no tact and social skills is Voron. Please forgive him if he did anything rude to you.”

               “Ah…it’s okay.” Aiya said, blinking. “But I’ve really got to go.”

               “I’m sorry, I’m not going to let you do that.” Voron said, sitting himself down on a chair, “Because Green is a terrible cook and you have food. A trade’s a trade. For saving you and healing you, you are now our hostage.”

               “What?” Both Aiya and Green asked together.

               “Fair is fair.” Voron said, “You are going to stay right here and cook.”

               “Wait…Voron, isn’t that kind of mean?” Green asked and Voron looked at Green, more serious than he ever had been before.

               “Green…are you going to deny the fact that we haven’t eaten a square meal for days? Desperate times call for desperate measures.”

               For a moment Green was quiet before turning to Aiya with an apologetic smile.

               “Sorry. I guess we’re keeping you captive now.”

               At the height of her annoyance, Aiya suddenly screamed out all of her frustration,

               “YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST!”

How do they deal with bad memories?

Quietly accepting them.  He takes his time, thinking about all the reasons that caused the bad memory in the first place, but then finding all the good things that happened afterwards, and he strengthens his resolve to move on.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?

The comedic relief + the guy who’s so afraid but doesn’t want to admit to it so he keeps getting himself into worse & worse situations.

How do they hide their secrets?

Terribly.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?

…kija is so pure lmao. but. Envy. because he’s always worrying about being good enough for Yona that he might have a predilection for envy

Attic-Soo-won

Christ on a roller coaster, this one is hard because, well, we don’t know enough about Soo-won’s thought patterns.

What is the character afraid of? Dying before he does whatever he’s planning to do? Not being able to kill Hak and Yona, causing the former? Or maybe it’s something normal like spiders or whatever.

How do they deal with bad memories? I’m going to guess he doesn’t. Instead, he will focus on his next projects and works hard and thinks about other shit so he doesn’t reminiscence about anything at all. After all, now his past good memories are kinda bad as well. So when he does think about it, he’s just... sad as fuck, I guess. Hunts with Gulfan. Drinks a lot of exotic tea. Annoys Joo-doh. Tries a new kind of bath bomb with clothes on. You know, the usual selfcare.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie? Not a traditional one, that’s for sure. It would be easy to pin him as secretly the psycho killer, but that’s too cliché. I’ll say the ditzy dork who pretends to get killed off on the first half hour, but appears by the end of the movie to backstab the slasher. SURPRISE, BITCH.

How do they hide their secrets? Very well, apparently. No, seriously, how does he do that.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most? It’s Mister Not Even The Gods Can Stop Me Bring It Bruh, so I’m gonna say pride. People who don’t know him will think he’s a sloth sort of guy, but that’s just a façade,
