Did you guys know that Yuexiu/Lord Yi is canon in Royal Chaos?

Personally I love that. Can you imagine? The emperor’s brother and right hand fell in love with a maid? The drama!! Forbidden romance!!! Also Yuexiu deserves the best.

It explains why Lord Yi helps the MC so much since they’re the master and friend of his girlfriend. The first time he kinda hints that it’s because FeMC is the sister-in-law, but if that was the only reason why isn’t he so helpful to the rest of the concubines? Also in the MaMC route they’re not in-laws so that’s clearly not it. 

Maybe it’s also why in one of the chats with the emperor when MC suggests hooking her up with Wei he goes “hmmm, mayhaps no”. Maybe Lord Yi told him about it and, although maybe in public the emperor can’t support it, but in private he helps them out and makes sure it’s not found out. And maybe the reason he’s not telling MC is because Yuexiu asked to be the one to tell her master first. And maybe she just hasn’t found the right time to tell us.

“Physician Yang! Physician Yang!” Yuexiu went up to the doctor with Yunyue close behind, “Will my master be alright?”

“Um-hm. She’ll be just fine.” Reinian nodded. “She collapsed from stress, I’d advise to make her some soothing tea once she awakens and to avoid conflict. Though I understand the latter half may be easier said than done considering...”

Reinian trailed off, but Yuexiu and Yunyue knew well, the drama in the harem rarely ever ceases. Try as any of them might to refrain from joining, sooner or later the conflicts in the harem would find their way to them. 

“...Well anyway, I’ll see what I can do on my end to talk Lienyian and Lienyi to run interference if someone tries to stir trouble for her. Be sure to send for me if she feels any sort of discomfort no matter how trivial it may seem.”

“Thank you very much.” The two ladies bowed.

“Uhm-hm~. I’ll be on my way now, take care.” Reinian bowed before existing the residence. 

“Uhhh...hm..?” The lady began to stir...

“Master!” Yuexiu ran to her side.

“Sister, I’m so glad you’ve awakened...” Yunyue breathed a sigh of relief. 

[Something I wrote that can be used to jump start a story with your OC or something to work off of if you want an excuse for your character to know Reinian. 

Thought it would be fun to open up the opportunity of Reinian being a physician that could care for an ailing OC in the harem due to stress. Since stress is ever present in the harem fkdgjsdfkgd]
