Yu Mingye is such a Good Boy. Sweet Boy. I ship him with Main Female Character (Feng Wu), Main Male Lead Who Is Also His RIVAL (Jun Linyuan) and all three of them as a threesome, but I know he’s not gonna get the girl and I want Xiao Xingchen to have a nice, soft, sweet verison of Xue Yang as well, so I also ship them.
I have a fusion idea where Xiao Xingchen ends up in that world after committing suicide in canon and is basically in FW’s position, and JLY is Song Lan’s reincarnation and Yu Mingye is Xue Yang’s, and another plain old crossover idea where Yu Mingye is an alternate version of Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen ends up bodily in that world and ends up saving him and having him fall in love with him instead of Feng Wu.
I just...I love this Soft Boy.
