How to make: Yuja tea
I’ve been drinking a Yuja tea almost everyday recently and I came out with some tip to enjoy it more better. But... What is Yuja tea?
Yuja tea (유자차) is Korean’s one of the most favorite teas made of the citron. Korean call it as a tea, but it’s not the teas that you guys might think of. It’s rather more like a juice but it’s a “juice-tea”.Here are two methods that you can enjoy it in a best way.
Ingredient: Yuja jam, Cup, Hot water, Teaspoon, and a bit of patience:)
Method 1
First, fill the bottom of the cup with Yuja jam. Only use the syrup part not the citron. It doesn’t need to be much. 2 or 3 teaspoon of it is enough.
Second, add 2/3 of the hot boiling water.
Third, wait about 5 mins with patient so that it can be cool. If you just add cold water into it,.. um... well, Good luck!
After 5 mins, add one teaspoon of the citron in the Yuja jam. Make sure to swirl it very softly so that syrup on the citron stay still.
Then it’s done. Taste of the citron at the bottom, will make you happy.
If you don’t wanna eat the citron in the jam, I recommend you to follow the original way- just put 3 teaspoon of it and add hot water.
Thanks!
