Today I got to meet the maestro himself, a sartorial genius, the great Yuki Matsuda. Yuki (to my left) is the man behind MEG Company & it’s sub-labels, all of which produce incredibly well made timeless clothing, footwear & more. I got to chat with him about his creation process & standards, & tell him that he makes all of the things I have always imagined but could never find until I discovered his work. FIVE GIFT IDEAS: YUKI MATSUDA OF MONITALY

Yuki Matsuda of Monitaly might be the designer with the best sense of humor. He sometimes even puts smiley faces on his clothes, which brings a smile to my face. Here are a few items from the No Man store that struck his fancy. 

1) Etnia Barcelona Sunglasses.

Yuki's Notes:  Nice to have many sunglasses, especially like this one. I could use them for South Miami or Palm Springs.

2) PEdALED Cycling Hat.

Yuki's Notes:  Perfect for my bike riding! It's simple but very dandy.

3) Heschung Chukkas.

Yuki's Notes:  I know Heschung is very good. These are the best shoes from them. I have this model myself. It's a very comfortable and classic casual chukka. Think like a high grade version of desert boots.

4) Drake's Scarf.

Yuki's Notes:  I would love to have this scarf. I will be very cool town player when I just add this scarf on the neck.

5) Monitaly Raglan Zipper Jacket.

Yuki's Notes:  The raglan zipper jacket with military blanket wool is awesome. Very classic yet with large teeth zipper make you look more younger and stronger.

I will wear it jeans and chucks.
