@inquisitorhotpants they really are. I was somewhat willing to give KOTFE a chance (even though I was super angry about Marr bc you made me love him). Still, it’s so freaking obvious that they didn’t plot a damn thing past deposing Arcann that I can’t even. I have literally headcanoned SO MUCH of the expansion stuff for all my characters that it doesn’t even resemble the expansions any more? Also I’m still not bitter about them bringing back a LI as a fucking Alliance Alert.
Do I even need to say the name of the caped ship lol
[I love how you don’t even need to name them, and yet I know which ship you mean lol!]
SuperBat Meme Answers Below, because I can never answer with super short replies! I hope you enjoy though~ :D
Insists that they are an awesome dancer even though they’re terrible: The interesting thing is that both are actually strong ballroom dancers and dancers when it comes to having a partner to interact with. Clark chooses to be discreet about it, since he likes being clumsy+dorky, but he’s an excellent dancer! And Bruce we know is an excellent dancer for those types of dances. So in terms of who would be slightly worst and insist they are great-If we go by maybe other dance genres like hip hop, tap, etc, I just see it as being Clark. Only by a slight smidge, and if you asked me, only because he enjoys being goofy. BUT if he ever needed to dance to perfection for any reason, he would deliver.
Likes to watch reality tv: I’d say both actually. Clark, I imagine, would like one reality tv show and know it’s fake and unrealistic, but still enjoy it as an ‘It’s not a masterpiece but it’s alright’ thing. And Bruce, I just imagine would watch and complain a lot, but still watch the show. A ‘This show is incredibly ridiculous’ and then clicks for the next episode lol. (And you can bet he’d remember everything and all details; Not something he’s proud of per say but he can’t not-remember when his memory is so sharp. So I imagine a “What’s tonight’s episode suppose to be about again?” asked by Clark, and Bruce would be all “It’s suppose to be Sherri’s store opening, but the contractor isn’t doing their job fast enough, so things aren’t going as planned. Which means Andrea has to figure out what she’ll do for her clients, and Rob will need to help Sherri out.” And then both are silent for a few seconds because Bruce remembered THAT well)
Refuses to wear pants when they’re home alone: Bruce. He HAS been in just his tiny shorts or boxers when he’s at home, and exercising on top of that, so you know it’d be Bruce.
Is the jealous/protective one: Without a doubt Bruce/Batman. He tries not to be, but he’s pretty obvious still.
Goes all out on the holidays: Clark! :D He’s got the Santa mugs, the hot cocoa, lights, the sweaters, the decor, the music, and pretty much everything one needs to really celebrate the holidays! Including holiday spirit!
Cries over books: Clark. He can’t help getting so into the novels, and the character’s struggles. (But hey he’s not complaining!)
Is terrible with kids: Bruce. To an extent though. He isn’t a ‘Get along instantly with kids’ person, because he’s awkward around them. But ultimately he’s very attentive to them and is very patient and gentle with them. So he’s not terrible, just it takes him some time to warm up to kids.
Drinks too much caffeine: Bruce. His job as Batman requires lots of overnight shifts, and that means for him, lots of caffeine.
Could sleep for twenty-four hours straight: Bruce; Pulling so many all-nighters does have him exhausted often, so if he can rest he would rest for a solid day.
Never wears matching socks: Clark. Although it’d be an occasional thing. So he’s late, needs to change fast, grabbed the wrong socks because he forgot to organize them when he washed them, and thus is not matching. Or he’s lost a few socks, and needs to buy some new ones and hasn’t. For the most part though, he’s usually always matching when it comes to socks.
Punches a tree when they’re angry: Neither.
I could see Clark, IF on Red Kryptonite do so intentionally, but that’s only if he’s mind-controlled or on Red K. Otherwise in terms of him being fully conscious, he’d never. He’s a character whose quite collected and great at handling his temper most of the time, so to intentionally punch a tree when angry wouldn’t be him.
Bruce lets out his anger differently; Not really in the sense of punching a tree. (If he tried he’d just severely hurt his hand otherwise lol).
Gets scared by the toaster: Bruce. He rarely cooks, or does anything in the kitchen, so I imagine if he’s at a place (like Clark’s) and they have some ancient toaster, he’d flinch every time lol.
And there are my answers~ Thank-you for sending me a ship, and one I adore very much! :D
psychopomp-sentinel said: Thrift shop cosplaying and having photoshoots with yourself might appeal to you~<3 it’s cheap and fun and with creative photoshop and another loner cosplayer (like myself) you can make it a pairing cosplay
This is a good idea! I considered even closet cosplay might be good, while I can’t actually cosplay right now. I’m hoping later this year, or next I can, and finally get to do some cosplays I’ve been wanting so badly to do. *cries*
I miss my con life. Haven’t been for 2 years? More?
Thank-you for sending a ship my way Michelle~ :D (And sorry for taking forever to reply! But here you are, my answers~)
Who’s The Cuddler: Clark. No doubt about it. You just know he’s the one who loves cuddling to Bruce, and loves cuddling to loved ones =w=
Who Makes The Bed: If they’re at Bruce’s Manor, well it’s Alfred, though I like thinking Clark tries to do it because he doesn’t like giving Alfred more work to do. That and Ma and Pa have taught him to do the bed, and so he tends to always do his. (Bruce can, but living the rich life, has spoiled him.)
Who wakes up first: They both don’t live really scheduled lives exactly. Clark, can be out late as Superman, and Bruce as Batman. But if they get to sleep early, and get to sleep together, I’d say they interchange. Sometimes it’s Bruce, who tries to make little movement (and succeeds) so as not to wake his Kryptonian boyfriend. And other times, it’s Clark, who sees the tiny peek of a sun from the closed curtains, smiles, and then sees Bruce.
Who Has Weird Taste In Music: It really depends on what one’s definition of weird music is. I suppose to a certain degree it can be Clark (‘Hey not all of 90s pop cheesy songs are bad Bruce!’), as I envision he pretty much likes whatever. So his music is a wide spectrum of pretty much anything you can imagine: 1950s+60s+jazz+one hit wonders+pop+etc. Bruce’s taste I imagine stay in the 1950/1960s range. Sure there’s a few modern songs he likes, and instrumental is always a grand choice, but it doesn’t usually stray from 50/60s.
Who is more protective: Bruce. Definitely Bruce. [‘His damn sweet, cute, gorgeous boyfriend takes so much risks dammit! He may be strong, but he’ll risk his life to save a kitten and how is not suppose to worry a little?’]
Who sings in the shower: Clark~ It’s all Clark.
[But a couple of birdies can confirm Bruce does too. He think he’s being quiet, and that no one notices, but his secret has been discovered. Also super-hearing has detected him doing so too.]
Who cries during movies: Clark. And he’s a cutie for it~
Who spends the most while out shopping: If we’re talking money, Bruce. He’s got designer clothing to buy, and custom clothing to make.
If who spends more time shopping? Bruce. Not that Clark doesn’t spend some time; sure maybe in his earlier years he just wore red/blue/white t-shirts and obsessed with plaid, and maybe he still tends to buy said article of clothing. But he can be quite fashionable, and well-dressed when he wants to. But compared to Bruce? Oh, Bruce is style defined. He knows the latest trends, knows how to match it all, knows he has to be dressed fine-as-hell to events, so if he’s going out shopping, it’s going to take a while. (Although Alfred buying his clothes, and him having no clue when it comes to fashion is a great idea too.)
Who kisses more roughly: Bruce. Not because Clark doesn’t have rough kisses, or passionate kisses, but I feel Bruce would be the one who kisses more roughly.
Who is more dominate: Bruce. Although they both switch roles (so some nights Bruce is on top, others Clark), I feel Bruce would be more dominate in the bed. And Clark doesn’t mind one bit at all.
psychopomp-sentinel said: My god, I only know several phrases and a handful of words, and even I can tell it doesn’t sound right in half the shows I’ve seen that have kids (or even adults) speaking Spanish and it’s not right. I’m sorry most media is garbage for representation
It's so irritating. Especially when no doubt someone on the working crew had to have known Spanish, and could have simply asked them to help them get it right. But instead it's this butchered pseudo-Spanish, where you can tell writers have no clue how to speak it, or how it sounds, wrote it.
And I hate it, because it makes Spanish sound like some ailen, bizarre language that doesn't sound just as nice as other languages. When in reality, it sounds just as nice as other languages. It's no wonder when friends/people come over, and they hear me and my family speak it, they're all "Whoah! It sounds so nice! *___*" with starry eyes. They only have heard butchered Spanish on tv, written by lazy writers.
