i don’t have a coherent and complete explanation but i’d say: 1. catgirls represent a very specific sort of femininity, 2. a lot of us are super into imagining ourselves as non-humans, see also furries, 3. most trans girls of an age you’re likely to interact with grew up on video games and/or anime and catgirls are pretty frequent there. i think that gives an approximation of an answer

i’ve smoked weed a few times but either it makes me anxious and paranoid, or it just makes me sleepy, with none of the positive effects. i know my dad is the same, so it might be genetic. as it is it’s been 2-3 years since i’ve last smoked any, though i’ve had a few occasions. im also weirded out by the concept of government weed, considering its legal now and sold only in government-run stores

what is ur number 1 hobby/favorite thing to do

there’s a few different answers to this but basically

1. my favorite thing to would be eating good food. a nice meal, ideally at the restaurant, is one of very things in the world i actually feel pleasure from

2. idk if it can count as a hobby but i’d say i dabble in film appreciation. i try to watch a decent amount of movie and think/read about them. at this point i’m fairly proud of my watched collection (which y’all can see on my letterboxd! im vivja on there) and i love talking about movies i like and/or hate. unfortunately watching movies requires a lot of focus/energy for me so i don’t do it as much as i would want to.

3. the rest of the time im mostly playing video games. right now im super into Path of Exile, but ive been meaning to start a heavily modded Factorio game which should be delightfully painful
