-after a heated ahh argument yumi ends up falling back to her violent tendencies and there's now a brand new scar on the back of celeste's hand... instead of being upset she somehow takes this as a mark of being yumi's and elijah has to double take every time cause who stares at a large ass scar on your hand with such adoration ???

-rainbow finds out about it—just the scar, she doesn't know how celeste got it—and is just so concerned that she sends celeste triweekly care packages: scar medicine, pastries, and celeste is just living her best life

-to make celeste hopefully feel better—rainbow thinks celeste is upset over the scar but celeste is actually over the moon but yk—rainbow draws around it, little doodles like stars and hearts and spirals. yumi sees it once, just once, because celeste forgot to cover up her hand, and blatantly threatens to engrave those doodles into her hand permanently just so rainbow can't do it anymore

-elijah has to end their meeting short because he can fucking tell celeste is genuinely considering that offer

-rainbow usually being so kind and sweet but the mere sight of yumi just ticks her off so bad; yumi usually being good at hiding her emotions but just seeing rainbow makes her mood horrendously worse

-at one point, the three of them were out—they ran into each other by complete accident—and celeste mentioned like. wanting a new leather jacket or something, the next time they see each other, yumi is handing celeste a stupidly expensive one and rainbow is handing celeste a cheaper one but has some handmade embroidery on it... at the exact same time. celeste nearly swoons—her mood is amazing for the rest of the month, missing the fact the two of them are actively saying that the jacket they gave is better than the other

-the one time yumi and rainbow get sick, it just had to be at the same exact time. celeste runs back and forth constantly until somehow, she's the one with a horrible fever and the two of them are begrudgingly working together to take care of her

-draco staring in horror as rainbow, oh sweet rainbow, is currently contemplating the pros and cons of giving yumi a pastry sure to give her the worst case of stomach pain

-celeste hanging out with some classmate too long and both yumi and rainbow start to ignore her, celeste panics and threatens to go out with her classmate, all of a sudden they can't keep their eyes off her

-celeste delusioning herself into believing that one day they'll be a happy polycule. it's a very, very small chance. maybe they'll share her, but they won't ever stop dissing each other

-celeste catching yumi making heart eyes for kai again—out of pure spite and jealousy, she posts pictures of her and rainbow, puts rainbow on her story, and even lets rainbow try on her glasses. yumi was one bad interaction away from dropping a wholeass anvil on rainbow's head

anyways this is great and celeste should have her two favorite ppl love her and compete tf for her

-yumi's feelings get so horrid that when KAI gives celeste a look far too fond she genuinely considers offing him for a few days until she has to lock herself in her room and spiral—pushing down her feelings yet again and assuming her urges were 'if i can't have kai, no one can' ahh

-rainbow peeks at celeste's phone once only to see 'yumi♡' in celeste's contacts, doesn't talk to celeste for like a week and it's horrible for all of them; celeste is desperately trying to get rainbow's attention, rainbow misses celeste, yumi's getting increasingly agitated with how often celeste goes to YHS

-yumi considering to off rainbow but when she brought it up to celeste she blanked out completely and yumi—for the first time ever—experienced celeste losing her shit yelling and throwing things. ended up ghosting yumi for a solid month.

-sometimes yumi makes a snide comment about rainbow, because seeing celeste that angry ignited smth she didn't know she was into

-celeste feeling like a cheater constantly even though she isn't properly involved with either of them

-for whatever reason they're bumping into each other half of the time, yumeste could be at a mall, boom rainbow is there. rainyprism could be studying in rainbow's shared dorm w draco? wow look at that yumi and draco are hanging out

-rainbow and yumi sometimes end up waiting together for celeste at the gate. they hate it, it's all snide comments and not so subtly trying to pull celeste closer to themselves—celeste is going mental at this point
