Hello! Just wondering if you have any suggestions for good plum wine? I've been meaning to grab some while in tokyo

Hey, sorry so late! I mostly drink the cheap stuff, or my homemade, not-quite-moonshine umeshu. It came out strong (eh @todayintokyo​?) and it’s taking some time to get through. 

But some of the nicest plum wine I’ve had comes from Nishinomon in Nagano and Shimetsuru in Niigata. Also found that cheap Choya Single Year (~¥900) is surprisingly good.

And duty-free stores often have really good stuff. Specifically, the BIC Camera in Yurakucho should have something really great from Gifu but I can’t remember/find what it was. Someone there should be able to recommend.

avana this is so sweet thank you?? maybe sometime yeah though i hope you’re doing well cause i’d like to hang out some more too. aha it’s a hard habit to break idk tumblr is nice just sometimes i feel like a bit of a whiner whenever i dredge my negative stuff on here. gotta learn to accept my blog as my personal space and nobody elses to police.

that's a good technique for a short while, but if you need someone to rant to or something i'm always open. we can be the angsty club- like the fight club but it's more or less just dealing with frustration by ranting loudly and then eating lots of food. you're gonna be ok, just by the way. you can be ok now but you will be ok in a bit, things'll be better by then. but for now we can sit and be angst 'cause that sounds like a good plan right now.
