If you like Nutella, these Vanilla Nutella Cupcakes are a great treat. The inside is a moist vanilla cupcake with a swirl of creamy Nutella, and the top is topped with a crunchy hazelnut. Perfect for any event!
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup whole milk. 1/4 cup Nutella. 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts optional, for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a cupcake tin with paper liners. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with the batter. Place a small spoonful of Nutella on top of each cupcake, and use a toothpick to swirl it into the batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Optionally, sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top of each cupcake for garnish. Serve and enjoy your delicious Vanilla Nutella Cupcakes!
