Celebrate the colors of the flag with this delightful parfait featuring layers of red berries, blueberries, creamy vanilla yogurt, and whipped cream. A perfect dessert for patriotic occasions!
Ingredients: 1 cup red berries strawberries, raspberries. 1 cup blueberries. 1 cup vanilla yogurt. 1 cup whipped cream. 1 cup pound cake, cubed. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mint leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Put the redberries and half of the sugar in a bowl and mix them together. For 15 minutes, let them soak. Add the blueberries to a different bowl and mix them with the rest of the sugar. Also, let them sit for 15 minutes to cook. Start putting the trifle in serving glasses or jars by layering it: Put some pound cake cubes on the bottom. Spread a spoonful of vanilla yogurt evenly on top of the cake layer. Spread the red berries that have been mixed with the sugar on top of the yogurt. Do the layers again, this time switching between blueberries and whipped cream. Add more layers until the glasses are full, and top with a dollop of whipped cream. Add fresh mint leaves to the top of each parfait. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it so the flavors can mix. Enjoy the red, white, and blueberry trifle parfait while it's cold.
