Vishal was proud of himself. His biggest fear was and still is being robbed. And eventhough his house has been raided two times, he had the feeling, that he had learned how to manage his emotions and his anger better. His loving wife Yuri had prepared a beautiful strawberry cake for his birthday. Unfortunately the older kids where all busy with their jobs, so the birthday celebration happened in the small circle of Yuri, Chiharu and Vishal.
Vishal grew up to an elder.
While their parents were busy sprucing up the bathrooms, Tahir and Chiharu met up for a snowball fight after school.
When Yuri and Vishal were together, no one else around them existed anymore. Even after all those years together, it was still that way. And what some described as romantic, while others didn’t care about at all, made a minority feel nauseous. Koji loved his parents and his family. But his parents’ constant cuddling and kissing was just too much. Maybe it was because he had grown older himself, but the more he heard his parents whispering and laughing like teenagers in love, the more disgusting he found the situation. Chiharu knew his brother well and knew how to calm him down: A SNOWBALL FIGHT!
As a gifted artist, Vishal had decided some time ago that he wanted to keep some of his paintings - partly to decorate the house and partly to bequeath one to each of his children in the foreseeable future. He liked the idea that, even after he was gone, his family would remember him because his art would still hang on their walls. During another family dinner, Koji revisited the past and asked questions about the break-in. Even though that incident had happened some time ago, it still weighed heavily on the family’s minds. It’s understandable why Izumi hasn’t yet told her family what she does for a living.
Since Zain had moved out, the brothers finally each had their own room. Well, at least they each had their own bed. Because, really, they still liked sharing different aspects of a room. The question was always which one had the better toy at the moment. And the best toy seemed to be the little speckled horse.
One evening at dinner, Yuri complained that she felt the house lacked a bit of personality and that something really needed to be done about it. She said she actually felt a bit sad whenever she walked into certain rooms. So the family decided together to tackle the “Sherazi House TLC” project.
As the key turned in the lock and the door swung open, Siobhan still couldn’t believe it: after years of hard work, she was now standing in the place of her dreams - her very own yoga and fitness studio. How lucky that Jota had received that huge bonus and was willing to support her in making her dreams come true! Word had already spread like wildfire that there would be a new opening in Pearlbrook and that the redhead would finally be working as a personal trainer. The opening was a complete success!
But it wasn't just cooking and baking for the family that kept Yuri sane; she also threw herself into her work. Her boss told her that she only needed one or two more business contacts and she would get her final promotion in her architecture career. She didn't need to be told twice.
A few days later, she was promoted to the top of her architecture career. Vishal was in a manic state. All he could think about was his counterfeiting machine. So he got up in the morning and devoted himself once again to printing money. The family account grew by $746, but then there was a knock at the door: the police! It was a warning that packed a punch: Vishal had to pay a 1000$ fine. Luckily for him, Pearlbrook Prison was still under construction, so he got off with a slap on the wrist. However, the machine was confiscated. Koji continued to bury his nose in books and learned how to stay calm in the event of a house fire. A strange topic for a child, but if it helps him…
