                      if anyone were to ask her what was currently happening on the movie they were supposedly watching on her laptop, minah would stutter in response, unable to give an answer. why? because she’s too focused on something else. on someone else. and it’s eating at her how much she wants to do more than hold his hand. don’t get her wrong! she loves holding his hand but... it’s not enough. at least, not for her. was it enough for him? the girl’s fingers walk towards his leg, which isn’t even too far from hers, until she’s touching his thigh, an almost innocent smile on her features.

‘  did you pick up milk on your way home by chance?   or did you not get my text message?  ’    jueun emerges from the kitchen,   empty jug of milk in hand.   eyes are locked on raewon with hope.

         elijah had done an okay job at staying away from anyone he might have known prior to, well, you know, but he’d never been very good at keeping to himself and even death had done little to help that. it seems inevitable that he ends up drifting around the other, even if things had ended up so rocky between them. he hovers around nonetheless, poking around and prodding as if nothing had changed. “ is this really all you do for fun ? ”

she couldn’t always win a fight; it didn’t help that she had fallen over the scar on her left hip either. it felt like an old wound had been reopened, with scratches along her skin and blood trickling down the crevices of her skin. there was an underground medic, so she’s heard from a few little birds. a few individuals led her to where they usually work, her hand pressing down against a piece of old clothing that she was carrying around so that she could lessen the pain, yet she was wincing trying to find the medic. the name she was given was hyunwoo, hoping she could find them soon.

“’scuse me.. by chance.. are you hyunwoo-ssi?”

     “wonder how all that mistletoe got everywhere.” the ceiling is nearly covered in the stuff, thanks to hojin’s overzealous handiwork, unnecessary as it might be. but it’s the holidays, and he likes the tradition of it too much to not partake in it.

                 serpentine eyes peered through his long lashes. he wasn’t positive in what they wanted, but he wasn’t one to really ask questions beyond necessary. shifting in his chair, slender fingers drummed on his desk. ‘ so, why do you need my help? ’ soft, deep words filled the room from behind his thick mask. long legs stretched from under his desk and he hummed. ‘ i ... suppose it must be something important, ’ he stuttered on his few words, always struggling on too many s’s that drew out. still, he continued. ‘ if you came all this way to find me. ’
