@yutamae liked this for a starter from Asher !!
Whether or not Asher would admit it, he was a rather shy person, so trying to have a normal conversation with anyone he didn’t know much about was difficult. He just couldn’t help it, most of the people he worked with didn’t speak much other than when it came to asking him about steps to certain choreography or for help when they didn’t get something. That, that he could live with.
This, on the other hand, trying to speak to the other, wasn’t working. At least not well. It would get better eventually, but for now, he was trapped in small talk.
Tugging on his sweater sleeve, he spoke, “I’m honestly just going to apologize now. If I’m coming off awkward, I’m sorry... I’m usually not this bad at talking to people. It’s so bad right now and I don’t know if I could possibly explain why.”
Honesty. It was always his crutch. But the woman who raised him had told him that was the best policy. At this point, it would be difficult to change that.
“Anyways, can I uh... help you at all?” he looked around the studio, “a certain room? A teacher? Maybe one of the choreographers?” He was rambling, he realized as he looked down.
