I don't know why, but the idea of Xerneas being detached and uncaring of normal beings due to their immortality, and Yveltal being the one who cares deeply for life and living beings due to being Death, is something that I deeply enjoy. It's an interesting reversal that I never see explored.

Life is not new to Xerneas at all. It’s so used tho seeing new greens sprout all around them and mortals are usually just chaotic bugs to them.

Yvelta... Yvelta sees everything at their worse. Angry at the world that it gave the job of death and destruction to them. They see everyone wither and pass away, their souls left for the reaping and now their crying. Xerneas is so blind to the prize of life that the over glorified Stantler doesn’t see the horrors of what is left behind once the creations can’t keep going on. It’s death and messy, Yvelta hates it but it’s their jobs.
