Domus Demain. Study for a habitat at the beginning of XXI Century 1984 Architect: Yves Lion
UNIT PLAN - “Domus demain” by Yves Lion and Francois Leclercq - Frame and generic space.
Beautifully drawn unit plan with distinction of “served” versus “serving” spaces by using tone.
Services are taken up in the facade zone, described by the architects as “active layer” which will service technical equipment; this vertical band will be considered as the light and services supplier for a more inert and passive zone. Facade and services are integrated.
Access to an electronic copy of Yves Lion’s book “Urban textures” (with a paragraph on the Domus Demain project) is available through the Howard Tilton Library catalog.
