Developmentober Day 12 || Wrath

Briar's mom I think was a scary woman. Not abusive, just scary. She could be stern and strict, and was often the parent doing the brunt of discipline when it came to raising Briar. So she often met her mothers wrath if she did something she shouldn't have.

I was thinking about what fit Wrath for a while before settling on, yup, her mother. She fit perfectly. She was a very scary woman even before she had a kid. She loves her family dearly, though—don't get that mistaken. Her love is sometimes just also terrifying to keep them safe.

That moment of "don't make me come over there" and how panicked you get when a parent says that.
