WAIT. i honest to god love this. i see him teaching middle schoolers - they’re snarky little punks but still eager? carl can figure them out easily. he doesn’t push anyone harder than they can handle but he also wants people to show up and try in his class 🥲 he keeps an eye on kids that might need some extra help 🥲 he lets people fake sick if it seems like they’re having a really bad day 🥲 he plays fun music in class 🥲 his students like him and he likes looking out for them! maybe he also coaches some teams or helps run student clubs 🥹 gym teacher carl, absolutely in the running for alternative carls!!!!
