As for my training, its a bit of a muddy road but I'll try to give you an idea, haha. I have been practicing magick for as long as I can remember, a sort of intuitive energy manipulation. When I was 16, I started studying Wicca and witchcraft, and moved on to more general paganism at some point. I have read rather prolifically, and have experimented with several different occult frameworks, such as shamanism, esoteric buddhism, Wicca, Kabbalah, chaos magick, etc. I lean heavily towards esoteric buddhism nowadays.
I don't use Spare's method for sigilization. I make the sigils through a process of gnosis, connection with the desired thought form, melding to its unique energetic structure, and converting that structure into a symbol (which is more of a natural occurrence than a conversion). They are physical manifestations of specific states, energies, or thought forms (though there is little difference between these).
