Increase Space

Push back the boundaries of space. Distance is an illusion that you have created. I use this symbol when I need just enough space to fit something. Helpful when moving furniture or squeezing into small spaces.

Breaking Attraction

So you could use Breaking Attraction to stop that particular connection between you and this person. I would encourage you to be careful not to sever your entire relationship, unless you want to get away entirely. Just focus on the sensation of manipulation and aggravation between the two of you. If you want to do a bit of a working to strengthen the effect, you could draw it onto something that reflects the negative aspect of your relationship with this person. You could print out a picture of something that reminds you of how this person effects you, and then write their name on that picture, and draw Breaking Attraction over it. I wouldn’t do it over a picture of that person, lest you push them away entirely.

This is Emotion Balance, and you can use that for some stability in the face of manipulation. 

And this is Camaraderie, which balances out negative social energies and encourages beneficial interactions. 

I tend to use the symbols mentally, when the situation calls for it. You can put Emotional Balance on something to carry with you, such as on paper, stone, or wood. Use something which says “stable” to you, maybe a piece of metal. I would usually visualize Camaraderie on the “floor” (or fill the room with a three dimensional version of it) in the room I am having social interactions with.

Hi there, I'm a complete novice when it comes to sigils but I'd really like to get into it, I was wondering if you could tell me where you'd place the sigil especially for the school/good grades sigils, would carving it into a pencil work? Thankyou x

A pencil would be an ideal place! You can visualize it over your textbooks or homework. If you wear glasses you could visualize one on each lens. Try a few things and see what works best for you!

“Astral Projection Visual Mantra”

This piece is meant to help be a mental mantra for astral projection. The symbol was created by ensorcelledether​ and I lay no claim to owning the image. I really love his work and really encourage you to look at what he is up to.

I create my artwork on spontaneous pulls of inspiration and cognition, and found ensorcelledether​ had a very similar ‘inspiration’ method to his work. At the time I figured he wouldn’t mind me using his symbol without asking for permission as I was running on a creation high and couldn’t find the resistance to stop with the work.

Through this act of 'brazenly using this image without permission’ (a guilty thought I wrestled with for a moment), I gained a deeper Permission to do what I felt in the moment; a rush of excitement too, was to share this piece with someone who inspired me and to whom I too would inspire.

Hello I'm curious to you're training and how these sigils and glyphs work. I'd love to hear back from you as I'm interested.

Sorry it took me so long to get back! Hello.

As for my training, its a bit of a muddy road but I'll try to give you an idea, haha. I have been practicing magick for as long as I can remember, a sort of intuitive energy manipulation. When I was 16, I started studying Wicca and witchcraft, and moved on to more general paganism at some point. I have read rather prolifically, and have experimented with several different occult frameworks, such as shamanism, esoteric buddhism, Wicca, Kabbalah, chaos magick, etc. I lean heavily towards esoteric buddhism nowadays.

I don't use Spare's method for sigilization. I make the sigils through a process of gnosis, connection with the desired thought form, melding to its unique energetic structure, and converting that structure into a symbol (which is more of a natural occurrence than a conversion). They are physical manifestations of specific states, energies, or thought forms (though there is little difference between these).

Slow Time

It can be beneficial to be able to move quickly, to cement your focus and drag each second out. Time is only your awareness of the moment you inhabit. To bend time, one needs only to bend their perspective. This symbol is the shape of that bending, to settle your mind into a slower world.

Invisibility

Sometimes we have to disappear. To go unobserved, invoke this symbol. I prefer to center it in my chest, but it can be centered however makes sense for you. Let yourself spiral away into the center.
