I had the incredible opportunity to learn a program that blew me away! @zachskow of @marleysmutts has created the @pawsitivechangeprogram to pair inmates of the California prison system with death row rescue dogs. They spend 14 weeks together where the dogs are rehabilitated and the inmates learn the skills of dog training and how to work with these dogs. These pups learn not to fear humans and trust their trainers and once the pups have completed the program they get a certificate that they are ready to be adopted. The program got a celebrity visitor last week @kristenanniebell who spent time on her daughters birthday to bring attention to the work of this incredible organization.
