While I have nothing to do: what's your opinion on IT 2017 compared to IT 1990? Personally, I think that they both have certain charms. 2017 is certainly more book accurate (thank god) and scary (the cinematography and music is better, as well as Bill Skarsgard being the fuckin best as always), I can't help but love Tim Curry as Pennywise. He's just too much fun, you can really tell he had a fuckin ball with his role. Idk, a lot of people seem to shit on 1990, but in my mind it's okay. It's fun.
Oh man, oh boy. I don’t think my opinion on this will be very good, since I only ever saw the 1990 version once, after the 2017 version came out. While I did immensely enjoy watching the 1990 version, and I had a lot of laughs, I do think the 2017 version is 10x better, in my opinion. The old one has weird pacing and awkward scene fade outs, and it wasn’t scary in the slightest at all.
But then again I don’t really like a lot of old movies tbh, i’m just not an old movie person :/ and I know they did things differently back then, but it’s never really been my type of thing.
I do prefer Bill Skarsgard’s Penny over Tim Curry’s too. While I do wish 2017 penny did more funny clown stuff in the movie, I love Bill’s take on it and how I think he was playing it as “A monster pretending to be a clown.” Which makes it a lot spookier.
I can understand the people who love the 1990′s version more if they like, grew up with it. But whenever people say that the 1990′s version is better it doesn’t make any sense bc legit movie wise…It’s really not lol. I’m not just saying that bc I fell for the 2017 version before I ever saw the 1990 version, but just bc of how they play out as movies.
I remember watching the 1990 version and the “big fight” happened when they were kids and I was like “That was it?????” It was kinda lame asdfghdjfdk sorry. I was just expecting a bit more. But it is a TV mini series so I shouldn’t have expected much. I did enjoy watching it though, like I said.
[Edit: One thing I forgot to mention is that there’s really no reason to compare the movies tbh, bc they’re both completely different adaptions of the same book! I hate when people call the 2017 version a “remake” of the old one. Bc it’s not.]
does aku munch or does aku crunch?? I must know
mostly munch, sometimes crunch, and on very rare occasion he nom
(ok but srsly why are Penny's lips so kissable why did they have to pick such a cutie to play pennywise why where is god)
(( Cos Hollywood finally figured out people want to bone the monsters in films so why not make them kissable. ))
Roy cannot draw at all. Yellow can draw a hyper-realistic rose in five minutes no-sweat, but it takes Roy a full three and a half hours to draw a semi-realistic leaf. Yellow always tells him to relax, that for someone to draw well they need to be relaxed, but Roy just cannot do it. Yellow's still helping him with it.
But what if Sammy Lawrence was not kill?
Sammy is not kill.
I own a cat, large dog, and two Hines pigs. would a clown not mix well with the them? Would They get intimidated or would they harm the animals?
A clown would be fine, if you trained them to stay away from the pigs. Clown and pigs arent a great mix.
Except rodeo clowns of course
Question: does pennywise shoosh, or does pennywise sheesh? Does it munch or does it crunch? I must know.
