Miraculous is yet another Miraculous Ladybug fanfiction in reaction to the infamous “Chameleon” episode, written by Marcmarcmomarc on Tumblr. However, instead of being another salt fic written by a Marinette stan where everyone except Marinette and her new friends are Satan spawns to justify Marinette’s decision to leave and find new friends, it actually makes Marinette’s dilemma, “she hasn’t even had twelve hours to deal with her expulsion and is jumping to conclusions too soon” as opposed to “Marinette’s fake friends mistreat her to give her a reason to run away”. So, basically, if Adrien didn’t make Lila tell Mr. Damoclès that Marinette was innocent and let her back into school in “Ladybug”, the story beginning on the night of the day Marinette was expelled and fought a Sentimonster of herself. The “Battle of the Miraculous” two-parter and everything afterwards doesn’t happen in this timeline.
Oh, and it’s a musical.
SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT!
Artificial Limbs: Marinette has to cut her right arm off to get out of the rubble in Chapter 22 and gains a prosthetic arm in Chapter 23.
Deconstruction Fic: Instead of the class being Satan incarnate to justify Marinette’s choice to leave, Marinette is simply jumping to conclusions too soon and doesn’t realize that the class’ opinion of her didn’t sour that much. In fact, Marinette assumes that her friends and family would be happy to see her leave, she unknowingly turns out to be wrong.
Fix Fic: Besides being a deconstruction of the usual Salt Fics, it also fixes grievances most fans had with canon:
The story ends with Marinette finally getting worldwide respect.
Marinette and Adrien reveal their identities in Chapter 20.
Chloé is given development that actually sticks. Even Gabriel, Nathalie, and Lila are given redemptions, ending the story turning themselves in to the police and accepting their punishment of community service and being on probation until further notice.
Disney Death: In Chapter 22, Marinette is believed to have died in the explosion before climbing out.
Final Battle: Chapter 21 is literally called this.
Harmless Freezing: Dracula freezes Lila and the villains in Chapter 20.
Heel-Face Turn: Chloé, Gabriel, Nathalie, and Lila.
Marinette’s new friends also count. While they were protecting Marinette from being hurt by the Parisians’ “betrayal”, they were antagonistic forces and even went as far as capturing them and attempting to burn Adrien’s lucky charm.
Liar Revealed: In Chapter 6, Adrien reveals the truth about Lila to everyone.
Mood Whiplash: Chapter 4 ends with the gang’s somber performance of “This City’s Not the Same Without You”, only to immediately follow up with Chapter 5 starting with “You Might Think” playing over Marinette arriving in Florida.
No One Should Survive That!: Ladybug survives the explosion in Chapter 22.
“The Reason You Suck” Speech: In Chapter 9:
Marinette: “So? Just the fact that it took me running away for you to come to the realization that you mistreated me speaks volumes. How did any of you ever come to the conclusion that a girl who tells the most unbelievable stories that can be fact-checked by a simple internet search is so spectacular? How did, ‘Marinette, someone we know always puts other people’s needs before her own, is bullying a disabled girl because of pity jealousy, even though she insists that she’s okay with Kagami dating Adrien,’ cross your minds at all? Tell me, Adrien. Why did I have to tell you to vouch for me? I don’t blame Mr. Damoclès for shutting you up! You looked like you were only doing it because I asked you to and not because you actually believed me! You all did nothing when I got expelled, not even Alya’s “detective work” turned out useful, and I’m just supposed to forgive you?!”
Revenge Before Reason: Marinette and her new friends refuse to talk things out with Adrien and his group.
Save The Villain: The heroes choose to take Lila with them as they escape the explosion in Chapter 22.
The Stinger: Chapter 27. The Miracle Box kwamis lament about their boredom (with Kaalki giving a Sequel Hook by saying, “Oh, well. Maybe next time.”) before starting to party.

It’s a portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer. Also called The Lady in Gold or The Woman in Gold, is a painting by Gustav Klimt, completed between 1903 and 1907. The painting was stolen by the Nazis in 1941 and displayed at the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere.
And I just find it super cool that the creators of this amazing show also used history for Emilie’s painting.

Miraculous Ladybug Season 2 Part 2 coming to United States Netflix in DECEMBER 2018!
So I was watching Miraculous Ladybug on Youtube (because the urge is too strong) and there’s a url in the Reverser episode that leads to a website that has this:
I google translated the text and it says:
“The second half of the season for the United States still show at the end of the year, in December.
The likelihood that another country (France, Spain, Canada, etc.) will show the season finale before Netflix, is extremely small.”
but my estimation on when Netflix would be getting part 2 seems to have been correct. (or early 2019).
(Zag Entertainment, I’m sorry for watching the episodes online, but I love this show so much and I can’t wait to watch the rest of the episodes on Netflix!)
