An AU for Vivek

Hello everyone! Good morning, afternoon or evening depending on when you are watching this! Sorry for the inactivity but between the festivities and the rest I really didn't have anything interesting to post here

But today I have! It's about a "what if" that I have had in mind about Vivek,OC created by @havockingboo (go follow him, he makes great fanarts and OCS!)

In short, it is an idea that arose in my mind after reading that post where it better explains what it is like, you know, that one with the Discord captures! And what is that idea about? in short Vivek realizing what he was really doing and genuinely trying to change (basically a redemption)

But of course, suffering from hallucinations with his previous victims and a shadow identical to him both in physical appearance and personality lol.(And yes I know that canonically that possibility is buried but I like to imagine this as a "what if" and this Vivek is not called Vivek, he changed his name to Aqua cuz lore stuff)

(This would be the last conversation he would have with Babies before cutting off communication with him.)

(The same thing I said before, but with Zahari and yes, he did the same with Shrike too lol)

Fanfic Friday~

This one goes out to @kakubakuart who wanted to see how Zahari and Marin met.

Back in his quarters, Zahari studied the letters between the two kings one last time. As far as he cared they both were guilty in keeping this information hidden from him. All those years ago... the Gerudo could recall it as if it was yesterday

The young Gerudo stood just behind his father as he listened to the older Gerudo discuss something with the much taller king of the Zora. He wasn’t entirely sure why they were here... perhaps something to due with the borders? Zahari sighed a bit and remained where he stood when he noticed something move in the water. He turned his head just a bit to notice the head of another Zora watching. It stuck his tongue out at him before disappearing beneath the surface of Lake Hylia. Not wanting to draw attention to himself he remained standing, intent on portraying an air of dignity for his people. It wasn’t until he felt freezing water hit him in the back of the head that Zahari finally reacted. He yelled and hurled a fire ball at the lake. It sizzled upon contact and as the steam dissipated the small Zora reemerged victorious.

King Ganon and King Sidon watched this and continued to talk, Ganon explaining that this sort of thing was what he was worried about. Zahari stood there, eyeing the lake with a look of disgust while he shivered. His royal robes were soaked through and through and he was in a bad mood now. As the talks seemed to conclude Zahari moved to follow his father back to the carriage but was stopped by the King of the Zora. The young Gerudo wasn’t listening to what the Zora was saying as his father’s carriage barreled off down the road. Next thing he knew Zahari was drenched once again and standing in the grand foyer of the Zora Palace. He hugged his arms, looking around with golden eyes when he heard something behind him. Turning around he was met with a orb of water to the face.

“Gaah!” he cried out, water blinding him as the figure responsible for the water ran up to him and pulled him in a hug.

“Got you!” the voice spoke, laughing a big and Zahari could tell the Zora was smirking.

“Let me go! Do you know who I am?” Zahari stated furiously, trying to break free of the Zora’s grip.

“Yeah, I do. You’re the son of Ganondorf~” 

“That’s king Ganondorf to you... you... fishface!” Zahari shouted, growing more upset with each passing second. 

“Ooh really original. Does that mean I can call you cactus breath?” the Zora chuckled and let go of Zahari, kicking him in the butt to push him away. The Gerudo was caught off guard, landing on his face before spinning around and tossing a dagger he had hidden up his sleeve. The pastel blue Zora moved his head a bit, dodging the dagger and looked behind him to see where it landed. Zahari growled and scrambled to his feet, trying to tackle the Zora who just stepped back and tripped the prince.

“You don’t know when to give up do you~” the Zora questioned in a teasing voice as he offered the Gerudo a hand. Wiping his nose Zahari reluctantly took the hand and stood up.

“Ah! Prince Marin! I was wondering where you wandered off to!” A Zora guard spoke up, causing Zahari’s eyes to widen in surprise. Marin gave him a smirk before putting his hands behind his head. 

“I was just showing my new retainer around the palace. You don’t have to keep watching me. I’m sure he won’t be able to keep his eyes off me~” with that the guard nodded and walked off down the hall and disappeared from view.

“I am not your retainer!” Zahari growled, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Yes you are. Your father and my father both agreed to it~ You are to ensure I don’t get into mischief and I’m to teach you how to have fun~” just as he finished talking a scream and a crash were heard down the other hallway. 

“Who left a bucket of squid ink above the door!” a servant cried out, causing Marin to run off down the other hall.

“Looks like you're already falling behind Zahari! Keep up!”

A knock at his door brought Zahari back from his daydream. Marin stood there, same smirk as always plastered on his face.

“You ready yet?” he asked, coming inside and looking around.

“Almost, just need a few more things.” Zahari explained, walking to the dresser.

“Remember when I used to hide in that and throw pastries at you when you opened it?”

“How could I not? You gave me a black eye...” Marin inhaled sharply at the memory and sat down on the Gerudo’s bed. 

“I think you have a better bed than me...”

“Probably why you’d spend so many nights sleeping with me.”

“Do you mean actual sleeping or fooling around? Cause I remember both.” he was met with a glare from the Gerudo who clapped his hands together. 

“Alright. I’ve got all the supplies I need. Let’s get going.”
