zahnerri was the first nerri to exist so nope! was a pretty easy decision.

at the time skyrim came out i didn’t know much of tes at all, save for the very very basic (aka what races you can play as). their name and colours shifted after i played the game a bit and developed them as a character. before nerri was my go to game character i just made ones with the name ‘pye’ for basic self inserts (brown hair and eyes cause i have em etc). so that’s what they were VERY BRIEFLY before they became the horrible bobcat lynx thing they are now.

nerri has shifted as a character a FAIR BIT since their initial creation. small traits have remained since the start but i’m really happy with how far they’ve come.

THE BIG THING that determined their character is the book Ahzirr Traajijazeri. it helped me realize their character more than anything else. it’s a rule of mine that zahnerri always has one in their inventory in skyrim cause of it being so relevant to figuring them out. khajiit are absolutely my favourite race in skyrim and fit nerri like a glove.
