I know you don't like Zaid Ali but what do you feel about the hate that his wife is getting?

jealously did play a part but the comments are a prime example of how south asians think being white is the ultimate beauty standard. 

and just because i dont “like” zaid, doesn’t mean the hate his wife is receiving is justified or fair. i honestly dont get why people think shes ugly, shes such a cute girl who deserved better.

Thank you sooooo much for addressing this!!! I thought I was the only person who couldn't stand a lot of Pakistani comedians! Especially zaid Ali! He was ok when he started now it's just offensive and repetitive!!

Reasons why Zaid Ali is the worst: 

He is sexist.

He slut-shames

He promotes rape culture

Wants a wife who is submissive and not “modernized” yet he can do whatever he wants. He calls Pakistani girls “fast” compared to Canadian-Pakistani girls. 

80% of his jokes are targeted towards women (ex: how they take selfies, always shown as catty, how they act when their parents are not around etc.) 

He is homophobic.

He’s racist. thanks shutdahellyourmouth

He uses his mother as a prop. 

He makes videos based on jokes made by other people without giving credit. 

Uses religion as a means to get more views 

Clearly has limited understanding of politics in Pakistan and of Islam but preaches it like he’s some scholar. There are a lot of young viewers following him who will take his word as facts. 

Compares tragedies (ex: american shooting is not as bad as people dying somewhere in the middle east) How dare he not let people grief for their loved ones. 

He watches movies, does Bollywood inspired vulgar dancing but wouldn’t do movies unless they are “clean” so he’s a hypocrite who takes in and enjoys entertainment but judges actors for it also.

why is HSY hiring international Pakistani “comedians” for the Lux Style Awards? Didn’t we get enough misogyny from Zaid Ali during the Hum Awards? All these so called comedians jokes are targeted towards women or homosexuals and don’t even know celebrities in Pakistan yet are given segments to host wtf. 

I would honestly be fine with the dhoombros.
