Welcome to the Evboverse Ship Swap Week!

The ship swap has officially begun! Good luck everyone!

Due date is July 5th!

What is a ship swap?

The Evboverse Ship Swap is an event hosted by @confessioncivilization taking place the first week of July where users can send in their favorite ships in the evboverse (parkour civilization, pvp civilization, minecraft simulation, and speedrun academy) and force other people to make them delicious content of the ships!

This content includes art and fanfiction, but it’s entirely up to the user on how they choose to interpret this!

What are the rules to the Ship Swap?

All ships are allowed, and again, rarepairs are encouraged! There shouldn’t be any issues with adult x child as there aren’t typically any children in evboverse media, 

NO NSFW!! Again, this was created by @confessioncivilization, a fully sfw evboverse confessions/headcanons blog. Do not ask for smut. Do not create smut. If you want smut, go find someone with nsfw requests open. This is not the place for that. Lightly suggestive stuff is fine unless stated against it, but don’t go further than that.

You NEED to enjoy yourself this is a requirement. If i find out you aren’t having a good time then you will be blocked and banned from ever participating in these events again. 

That last rule was a joke, but seriously. Don’t burn yourself out over this.

How will this whole thing work?

Submit your ship (there can be multiple) into this little form linked at the bottom of the post!

Your username and your assigned ships will go onto a funny little wheel with everyone else who signed up for this and I’ll spin it and randomly assign you a partner!

Using the info you provided me, I’ll dm you (or send you an ask from my main blog, @phoe-ix if dms are closed) containing your partner’s username and their ship(s) and preferences. If I send an ask, do NOT answer it. Leave it in your inbox and either take a screenshot, or do NOT delete it.

You’ll have until the provided due date to make them something special for one or more of their ships! It’s up to you which ship you choose to make something for if they submit multiple and the same goes for your partner. If they don’t do something for your most preferred ship, then that’s okay! At least you’re getting something, right?

You’re 100% allowed (and even encouraged) to submit rarepairs. Stuff you don’t see everyday is better! On one hand, you get to see new ships you didn’t even consider, and on the other hand, you get content for your silly little guys that nobody seems to care about!

Unlike a secret santa, this will not be anonymous. You can contact your partner if you want! If you need extra clarification on something or want to mention something you forgot to on this form, you can!

How do I upload my final product?

A proper list of information on how to post your final piece will be posted the day before the final due date.

DO NOT share your work before then, even if you finish early.

You can share a fic with a beta reader, but do not upload it to ao3 or wherever you choose to upload your fics to before the date provided.

It should be a surprise for your partner! Don’t let them know what you’re doing, but you can drop little hints if you want!

there seems to be a pattern of evbo freezing up in the face of credible threats to his life - first when he went through the red gate for the first time, then when he dies in bow civ (afraid of another fight for the armor stand), and now when clown pulls out the eternal axe. idk i just think its an interesting bit of characterization

feels very significant that clown spared evbo. feels VERY significant that both clown and tabi were given the opportunity to permanently kill evbo, practically on a silver platter. and both turned it down, knowing full well he would actively work to stop them. that only one of them could survive. and yet both of them chose to let evbo live, for the moment.

the guardbo and zambo differences are driving me insane. look

GUARDBO: best possible ending for evbo AND the guard. toxic yaoi turned good. they compliment each other so well but you wouldn't notice at first glance. slowest slow burn ever like they're medium rare with how slow it is. a prince and his guard… evbo is so kind in contrast to everyone else it starts to rub off on the guard, and the guard is so fiercely loyal it starts to rub off on evbo. two peas in a pot… absolutely perfect and magical dynamic

ZAMBO: worst possible ending for both zam and evbo. dear god who let them be together. they're not even in a relationship or anything they're out there killing each other (mostly zam killing evbo but evbo fights back) and getting hurt. they become codependent the first week after spending like five peaceful minutes together. zam greatly underestimates how much evbo is willing to fight back…the emotional war between them is insane. they make each other worse

I absolutely despise Zambo as a ship and I don’t see anyone else who just gets irked out by it

I get a lot of people enjoy the angst n such but it’s just too much to me id that makes sense

I can’t really speak on this much because I don’t want to possibly discourage zambo shippers from sending their stuff in, because I do like reading it. It’s just not my favorite either. :P
