I really like my therapist. She gets autistic people, she doesn’t need translating and she reads Steve Silberman.
But she keeps calling me a “survivor” and I told her that so was the guy in the Zamboni scene. Last week she said it again, and mentioned that things seem to be clearing up for me and I asked “have you read Terry Pratchett” and she hadn’t but she does read @neil-gaiman so I told her to go read Good Omens and then go read Discworld because I realized
Not only am I Granny Weatherwax and Sam Vimes, I am Rincewind. My life is...Interesting. And it keeps trying to tear me to shreds and stomp on the shreds until they are mushy blood on the ice.
And whenever things start getting better I flip into distrust because I know that as soon as I absolutely believe that this time it’s really getting better...
