28 September 2013. Day 20.
Hoping it's all over, but it isn't, despite 'official' declarations. Intermittent gunfire can still be heard and sporadic fire seen. We're glad we can get to our troops and lend them support, and that we can keep doing what we do.
Day 19. THIS is the breakfast of champions.
Prepared cheese bread and water for the soldiers.
Cheese bread and smiles for breakfast: a perfect way to start the day.

End of Day 12. Far and Beyond
It feels like we've settled into this setup. We pack hygiene kits according to a formula and make sandwiches like clockwork. "Sharing fun and work like in a high school project," one of us has said, making everyone reminisce. Somehow, amidst this war zone, there's a merriness about, and this may be how we keep on going despite almost two weeks in.
As we receive more generous donations from afar, relief support reaches further into the City. It really is a surprise how people whom you haven't ever met or seen can give so much to a cause that you think wouldn't mean much to them. There's nothing to be but grateful, as people are hungry. Hopefully, the kindness keeps up, as does our strength.
