favorite friendship: Kisaki? He doesnt really have many other people who like to be around him because he can still be such a dickkk

general opinions: I still have mixed feelings about him. He's an awful guy, whose done awful things, but everybody lives AUs and headcannoning with friends can be a powerful thing. But that's why Im okay pushing him off to an equally shitty Kisaki~ they deserve each other

favorite friendship: Pah and Mitsuya! Their weird little middle school group is fun.

general opinions: Peh is pretty fun! He's never really stood out in a super big way to me, but, his participation in the Tenjiku fight was pretty funny with the way he absolutely walloped Shion. He's cool, just not my ultimate favorite

Benkei

favorite friendship: like my answer for Akashi, the icon friend group of the OG Black Dragons. Those guys are so special. But specifically his friendship with Wakasa. Those two are such a good pair.

general opinions: He is definitely one I also had to warm up to - but I didn't dislike him ever. I just liked Wakasa more when those two were introduced... but man Benkei is great. I like to think in a way he's the calmer support of the OG BD guys, but thats mostly because he's a big meathead. No thoughts head empty, just protect my friends.

favorite friendship: I like to think he had a nice manly friendship with Mucho. As the two big brawlers of the s62 generation, I bet they would be friends while the rest of the s62 guys are a little bit more out there and wild.

general opinions: Mochi oh sweet Mochi. I honestly didn't really like him at first, but now I know better and it was just I didn't like how he looked in Bontent. We really don't know much about him, but he is big and looks soft and I want to give him a hug.

Akashi

ship with: KOKO - they are my absolute FAVORITE tokrev ship, but also Shinichiro, Ran, Wakasa, and Benkei.

favorite friendship: OG black dragons!!! Obviously. Shin is / was his best friend, and Wakasa and Benkei are also on his side. I hope we get to see more of the dynamic between the OG Black Dragons, because man. What an iconic group.

general opinions: I AM SO GLAD AKASHI WASN'T THE ANTAGONIST OF THE FINAL ARC. I loved Akashi almost immediately, and when he started acting in a way that made him seem a little sketchy, I was so so so worried. But I'm glad to see that he's just a normal guy who got into things over his head. He's also one of my favorites. I want happy things for him. I hope he and his nose are okay after that kick from Mikey.

For the meme. Starting with Ran

ship with: OTP : Mitsuya, but also ship him with Akashi, Kakucho, Sanzu, South, and a little bit of Koko.

favorite friendship: his friendship / relationship with Rindou is really my favorite... you can't have Ran without Rin, and just how Ran seems to worry over his brother really tugs at my heart. But, the friendship we've recently seen develop between him and Kakucho is also really special. Ran has such a strong big brother energy, and I'm glad he's kind of extended that brotherly affection to Kakucho.

general opinions: I LOVE ran so much. He's definitely in my top 5 favorite characters. I didn't really get the hype for him at first, but after seeing more of the fandom's perspective on him, especially the eastern artists on twitter, it really made me see why everyone loves him so much, and made me love him too. We only know so much about him in canon because he's just a secondary antagonist, but the little snips we've seen of him and his personality just really hit all of my boxes. (Plus, I've always been one to prefer side characters and rarer pairs, so, having such a strong love for Ran just makes sense for me). I also really love his character desgin, and the differences between his appearance in his 13, 18/20, and 30 year old selves.... love it. Love him!
