there’s an anime too right? do you recommend it
There are like... 4 separate things. Persona: Trinity Soul, Persona 4 the Animation, Persona 4: Golden the Animation, and the Persona 3 Movies. Oh, wait, there’s also the prologue one shot for Persona 5...
Trinity Soul is... Don’t watch it. Love yourself.
Persona 4 the Animation is okay from what I remember. If you don’t wanna spend ~60 hours with a game then just deal with this 25 episode anime since I don’t think there are too many discrepancies between the game and the anime.
Persona 4 Golden the Animation is... meh... If I wanted this type of cliche, I’d just watch a different anime. This series is 12 episodes, buuuuuuuuuuut it only focuses on a character introduced in Persona 4: Golden, Marie. It’d be less time consuming to just watch videos of her Social Link and look up a playthrough of her dungeon.
The Persona 3 Movies are great. I love them. You can find the second movie on Netflix, but the other 3 or 4 you need to scour the internet for (or just go to anilinkz.io). Much like with the Persona 4 anime, watching the movies can save you a lot of time and I don’t think there were many, if any, vital changes.
I actually haven’t watched the prologue for Persona 5, but you don’t need to see it.
