Annabell is fully finished! <3 She is from what I know a vintage Zapf Creation doll. She has a sweet face, and I loved working on her! In the upcoming days I’ll finally be able to open my etsy shop, and hopefully she’ll find an owner there! :>

Next step in saving the princess: getting the scrunchies out.

With that problem removed it’s time for a good soak. I used warm water and shampoo, I’m aware that that is made for natural fibre and this lady has synthetic fibre hair. But hey, I had to use something to get her clean, right?

Looks like a very relaxing day at spa. Time to take a comb to those tangles.

That was... surprisingly easy. Her hair is a really strong and smooth material. It sort of slides out of the tangles. Only the bottom 2 cm of the hair is very damaged so that took some effort. Lets give her some time to dry.

Wow. That’s quite the transformation. I was already looking into rerooting in case the hair was hopeless, but it turned out really nice.

Next up: clothes?
