Would you mind showing all of the family trees? I only know Hot Shot is the son of Firestar and Inferno and the brother of Flareup. That's the only family I know.
A lot of people’ve been asking that.
Time to set the matter to rest.

Take a look at this awesome homebrew monster: The Zapwing. A magical bird of prey to rival the legendary Phoenix. Created by Dragons and Stories. www.patreon.com/dragonsandstories
Despite your dislike of Miko, I think you should check out Zapwing on Fanfiction. I'm pretty sure he personally sent you some asks as well. He's pretty much got Miko down pat, since she's one of his faves, and I think you should check out his work. If you don't mind the constant violence and swearing he injects into his writing, that is. And trust me, there's a LOT of that in his work. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
Violence and language don’t deter me. In fact if it helps the story and creates good emphasis then I encourage it.
Also I should mention- I’m not adverse to including Miko and keeping her in character. It’s just that in the show she is written SO terribly. Her recklessness is used as a device to initiate action and it relies on her being and remaining a total moron in order to do this. It’s “anti-plot.” It relies on coincidence and it ignores previous story progression. It’s lazy. I hate lazy writing.
So if there’s a story out there where Miko is still kind of a brat but actually has defined motivations for why she acts that way and she behaves logically from that perspective… well that makes her flawed. And I’m all about flawed characters.
I should have ya’ll know, however that I’m kind of picky in how I enjoy my fanfictions. The best kind for me are on extreme ends of the spectrum: extremely good or extremely (hilariously) bad. So before anyone else goes recommending fics to me keep that in mind. I’ll look at those stories when I have the time though.
(pshh. Omg I wrote this as if my approval of a fic is anything special. I just like good writing- I’m not up my own ass or anything, I promise)
I don't really have an account, but if you need to find me, I'm Zapwing on Fanfiction and Deviantart. Anyway, I'm kinda wondering what you would think of a grown up Miko in a mechanized armored suit. You know, like the Apex armor, but man-made, and slimmer, with a more Gundam-esque/ Japanese robot aesthetic. I guess she wouldn't mind, 'cause in my headcanon, Miko's a big mech-anime addict.
I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did try something like this in the future for Miko. I mean, she's so utterly useless that giving her a suit of armor would mean her enthusiasm for violence could actually be indulged and be beneficial rather than a huge HUGE problem for everyone on the team. So yes. I would be in favor of this because it would mean Miko could actually contribute rather than function as an action-initiating plot device...
And also in my headcanon Miko is an insufferable weeaboo. I hadn't previously thought of the gundam fascination but y'know what, that makes perfect sense. Good call.
