In Memoriam: Comic Writer, Editor, and Comic Creating Catalyst Richmond Clements
I'm very sorry to report the death of the extraordinary comic creator Richmond Clements, a British comics writer, editor, events organiser and educator whose loss is being deeply felt by the comics community across the UK
Strontium Dog, Dave Evans tribute piece. Ink on paper with digital colour.
Dave Evans tribute. My belated tribute to FutureQuakePress writer, editor and all round #GoodGuy Dave Evans who passed in May. An integral part of the UK small press who provided a platform for rising talent. He will be missed when we return to events again. Thought Bubble won't be the same without him this year. A loss for the small press publishers and the wider comics community in general.
Based on the classic Strontium Dog ‘RAGE’ 2000ad cover here’s my addition to the many wonderful tributes to dear old Dave (Bolt-01) Evans who sadly passed away recently. A deeply genuine and lovable chap who boosted the UK comic scene immeasurably with his Futurequake Press endeavours, on which I had the pleasure of working with him several times. He will be missed by many... #daveevans #futurequakepress #zarjaz #dogbreath #2000ad #2000adcomics #2000adart #comics #ukcomics @fqp_bolt https://www.instagram.com/p/CPm-coMBlpX/?utm_medium=tumblr
