Reece seemed a bit confused when I pulled my Essential Rogue Trooper trade paperback out for him to sign, but I said I wanted to do something different. Told him that I’d brought it to Echo last year in case he was going to do a stage door appearance and that I was gonna be all ‘aha bet I’m the first person to get you to sign anything to do with Rogue Trooper!’ Well, one year later I get my chance and he said I was the first person to ask him to sign anything RT-related 😅
He said he’s seen the film, and it’s good, and I asked him the burning question I’ve had ever since I saw the cast list: What accent does he do for Bagman??
The answer is ‘generic Northern,’ and he told me about how it was really important to the director (Duncan Jones) that it be a really British film and get that across in Rogue & his squad ☺️
