A couple doodles of a character I dreamed up.
"Uh... So, guess what?" The Young Monk says as she smiles at Thaenicus, "I think you might not have a job much longer. But the plus side is last night was fun. But, probably not gonna happen again." (Reaction to waking up after a night of drinking in the same bed.)
His eyes peel open at the sound of her voice, bloodshot and heavy. “Wh-what?” he mumbles, squinting through the rays of sunlight pouring in through a gap in the curtains. He struggles to sit up, still dazed and terribly confused as his hues lazily crawl over the mess of sheets, empty bottles, and two pairs of legs. As reality finally begins to settle in, he looks over at her, the corners of his mouth curling up to almost smile, but the sleepy haze quickly comes crashing down.
Shit. Shit.
“What the hell?! Oh gods. Oh shit, oh gods,” he groans, clutching his skull as he rolls out of his bed – the bed they somehow managed to share together the night before. “Please tell me. We didn’t… Oh, fuck me. Zas… Shit, shit! Out! Go! How quick do you think I can pack a bag and get to Draenor?!”

[Flashback] The Bright sun stood in the air, as Zasalemel, and his three friends, Maurussus, Rayan, and Lianalla sat in the courtyard of the Silvenheim Manor, making a plan for their next hiking trip. Their voices were loud, and could be hear reverberating around the manor.
It only became more painfully clear to him that he was an outcast when he heard them chatting. With books hugged to his chest, he hid behind a column, quietly listening. His brow furrowed at the fact that they did not even seem to consider inviting him to tag along, but still, he stayed. Perhaps it was a little masochistic of him, but eventually, he made his presence known.
His father had taught him that he was not destined to be alone. His future was not to be the strange man studying even stranger things in the corner if he did not wish it to be. So, taking his old man’s advice, he decided that he would be the master of his own fate. Getting closer to the young Lord Zasalemel and his close friends was simply the first step!
“Hey, guys!” he greeted, clutching onto the small amount of courage he’d gathered and keeping his face as cheerful as possible. “Heading out on one of your adventures, soon?” He canted his head, still hanging onto his books as though they were his shield, ready and willing to protect him from the boys’ playful teasing.
