Mermaid Tales Zaurance is so funny to me especially from Laurance's pov cuz what do you mean on top of everything happening he's in love with a crab who just happens to make a very pretty human and is actually adorable and nerdy and snarky and shit he's definitely falling in love

I hope that the next episode with Aaron awake they'll be able to have downtime and I can imagine him and Laurance having a drink together and Laurance lowkey crashing out over falling for A CRAB while Aaron lowkey laughs at his misery because it's ridiculous

then proceeds to give a decent talk, assuring Laurance that it'll be fine and he'll figure it out

laurzane with somehow Void Paradox!Laurance ending up in MyStreet in like season 3 and due to shenanigans Zane is the one who finds him and is trying to hide him

Laurance isn't sure if he can trust this version of Zane but he can admit he's cute

and maybe at some point VP!Laurance has to wear MYS! Laurance's clothes so that him and Zane can leave the house to get some things and it leads to some flirty moments that leaves Zane redder than when he was sunburnt

and when VP!Laurance leaves Zane is left with some very fun new thoughts towards MYS! Laurance who is blissfully unaware other than being confused about his clothes

Like many moments in the past months, Laurance didn't know how he’d ended up there. A question about his flask, an offering to share, moonlight flickering on the ocean as inhibitions faded and now… His flask had fallen to the floor, empty of liquid sin for once as he took in the physical form of it sat so prettily in his lap. It was captured in pale skin that looked entirely untouched by the sun, eyes that held the sky and never ending questions, freckles in the shape of constellations yet to be discovered… want was too weak a word to describe what he felt at such a sight.
