May 3 post 2 Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud - One of my favorite sunrise views👀 of the San Francisco skyline is from Treasure Island💯. I really think some of my best photos were taken from places where you don't always think about setting up your gear up at sunrise or sunset; because you're not looking directly at the sun. You may not see the sun rise but you get to catch 1st light when it hits the top of buildings along the skyline like these two pics. .. - Photography really opened my eyes and my mind's eye. I first noticed how the sunlight lit up buildings along the eastern San Francisco waterfront by walking from the Ferry Building around AT &T Park (now Oracle Park) and back at sunrise which is about a 3.75 mile walk. Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud - The backgrounds I get to work in front of all around San Francisco are so incredibly beautiful when I do Landscape / Portraits. But when the natural 🌥️ dispersed lighting is just right, as it was at the top of Hawk Hill one cloudy March morning, even the ground, netted for erosion control with plant saplings, can work for a background. Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud - This photo of Brazilian nightclub owner @ismenian replete with clouds and moon background was taken lying flat on my back (and completely spontaneously) on Treasure Island in March of 2019 just before sunset.. . My photos up in the Oakland Hills with fog blanketing the Bay Area down below, reminded me of that photoshoot. - I can't wait to get back out there giving tours, taking photos and making memories.
