your art is beyond stunning and CONSTANTLY inspires me to create!! i just wanted to let you know i was gifted your davrin print with the fall of weisshaupt and i am beyond in love with it. however, in case this might be helpful, i did want to let you know the print comes out a bit dark- some of the details (especially on davrin) do get lost!

it's in a place of honor above my desk, though, and i am 100% that "oh ariana we're really in it now" meme on a daily basis. thank you for putting your art out there!!

i am so in love with your merthur devotion painting you dont even understand. it’s been weeks and that shit is still haunting on me. there are skulls on the ground, a sword to merlin’s neck that he allows to stay, that he gifted arthur—he just gives arthur this power to end him, both literally and emotionally, but yeah it’s always been fucking scary to love someone. they are in this setting of pain and death and blood and all things terrible and older than them, but they keep their gazes locked and their hands clasped. the threat hurts like a wound (to the hand) but not enough to make a man brave enough to kneel among skulls shy away.

aaaaahhhhhhghhhh. the thoughts. too many. that painting makes me a heap. piled on the floor tears in my eyes. when love and fear mix

Hi! I wash just wondering what brushes and programs you use?

Hey! I mainly use Procreate on iPad these days (with occasional forays into Rebelle and Krita on desktop). I usually tag my posts with what programs I used (if I don’t forget).

You can find a variety of the brushes I use in my brushes tag.

the most essential brushes in my workflow in Procreate are the default 6B pencil (found under Sketching) and a tweaked Nikko Rull brush (found under Painting) with a different grain:

Grain > Grain Source > Edit > Import > Source Library > Munched Paper

Plus, I'm currently trying out the Perfect Oils brushpack which I linked in in a post in my brushes tag (which you have already found, oops haha). The 'Wishing' morgwen painting, for examplem was a mix of the pencil brush, the tweaked Nikko Rull brush and some texture brushes from the Perfect Oils brushpack.

HI i just saw a bbc merlin fanart of yours [once and future] and i am SHOOK. oh my GOD. it was so so good i stared at it for so long and the lighting was so brilliant?? their eyes?? the positioning of merlin's hands??? the absolutely stunning colouring and, again, LIGHTING?? i'm not an artist so unfortunately i don't the technical terms necessary to describe everything about the piece i LOVED but it was so good 😭😭😭😭 and i think it's phenomenal and absolutely stunning and beautiful <33

the brainrot that sets in, everytime you post merlin fanart (wips or finished, both kicks my ass) is absolutely unfathomable so i wanted to say thank you for blessing our eyes and this fandom with your art

Hello! So I'm currently so happy because I just stumbled across your blog and discovered that you're the artist who did Once and Future! I saw it on Pinterest a while ago but I wasn't on Tumblr then, so I'm so glad I've found you're art now!

I LOVE Once and future, it's so striking and stunning and skilled, I just stopped and stared at it for ages when I first saw it. And then I saw Devotion on here and I thought the same all over again! Now I've found your other Merlin work and it's all so gorgeous, I especially love Shadows of the past, A reminder of you and me, Seven promises and Devotion. You make me happy made me miss the sweetness and tenderness of early series morgwen so much all over again, it's so soft and pretty.

Your art has really inspired me to finally start my own. I've been waiting until I have time once my exams are over (which I just finished today!!) so now I'm definitely going to start some Merlin stuff, particularly now I've seen your amazing work. I hope I can create art that's as gorgeous and impressionable as yours one day!

what brushes do you use on procreate, if you don't mind me asking?

Any of the brushes mentioned in my #brushes tag but most of all the 6B Pencil and a modified Nikko Rull brush (explained here). Other than that I regularly use the Perfect Oils brushpack but Procreate just dropped a huge update with new brushes including oil and paint brushes so I'd check them out first!
