Talk Trolls Thursday

1. What’s your troll’s name? 

Zcienz Tiempo. He doesn’t really have a picture or a really good bio, sadly. He’s one of my Original Ten fantrolls (ahahahaha) and kind of got shuffled around because he actually finished a full plot in his original RP and got a Happy Ending. 

2. Has your troll ever had a friend or quadrant die? How did your troll react to losing someone they cared about?

When he played SGRUB, he was the only survivor of a doomed timeline. As he survived by basically breaking his own mind in order to access his godtier powers (Bard of Time aka BREAK TIME INTO PIECES AND STEP OUTSIDE)... he reacted badly. Very badly. In the regular universe, this never happened, but his reaction would depend on how they died.

3. Has your troll ever killed someone? Do they think about it still? How did killing someone effect them?

He has killed, but mostly by accident? His powers killed the remaining survivors in his timeline, though it took him a long time to realize that had happened. And by then he knew they’d been doomed already due to his timeline lacking several important players (no Witch, no Heir). But now he’s much more aware of his actions... when he’s sane. When he’s sane, he’s aware. How do you tell? The quirk! Time-broken Zceinz uSEs hIs wEIRd qUIRk bECAUSe hEs tRAPPEd but when he’s recovered/before he uses b1nary 0dd1t1es.

4. Does your troll celebrate Halloween or the Night of the Dead? All Souls Day? What do your trolls do on those days?

Zcienz doesn’t really celebrate most holidays. And even if he did, he’d probably do it... differently. But overall the passage of time is complicated for him.

Planet: Land of Clocks and Timelessness

History: Zcienz is a true broken paradox. His own creation is nullified by his existence, thus creating a broken circle that cannot ever be completed. He is only born if the player doing the ectobiology makes a grave mistake. He is then created, without an ancestor, and proceeds to live a (somewhat) normal life. He then enters the game and is the one who, in some way, corrects the original mistake the ectobiologist makes. Which means that in the session he enters, he is no longer created. This created a paradox in a paradox, as his existence means he was never born, but if he's never born the same issue happens again and creates him. At this point, when the grubs are sent back, any game session involving him becomes a Paradox Session. This is a lot like getting a scratch on the disk. things jump around, fuck up and generally go haywire... only it happens directly to them and pretty much everyone dies.

Except Zcienz, of course.

Once everyone else has died, he tends to find his way to his world's denizen. Here, he is doomed. He cannot hope to win. But he has one last hope; to jump outside time itself. This leaves him as an observer. He can watch every session as it's played. He can interact with them, but none of them will know who he is. He is able to move about in time, but cannot be certain which timeline he will contact when he opens a new message and he has no control over this. Basically, he is stuck in limbo for the rest of eternity.

Personality: Zcienz is a defeatist. He's certain, utterly certain, that everything is doomed and everyone is doomed and him most of all, only he's doomed to NOT be doomed. He's been hoping for death for a very long time, but it seems impossible when he exists entirely outside of the laws of time itself. He has no weapons and no way to get back into the timeline itself. He mostly messages people out of a desperate hope to find someone who knows him, but he will never be successful.
