for the wip game! my dear sister!!!!
It started with this drabble I wrote a few days ago. I just want more of Hinata & Hanabi, struggling with their relationship vs. what their clan expects. I’ve to warn you though that this wip is still very rough around the edges. 😬 Anyway, here’s another snippet:
She's weak enough to blame herself for losing her sister.
She's weak enough to blame her father and quell the thought.
Isn't it how it all began? Because she was too weak to be the heiress of the clan? Too weak to be Hanabi's older sister?
Isn't it all it all began?
In a fight, she lost over and over again.
In a fight against her sister, in a yet another fight she refused to fight.
And she gave up before it started.
And she felt she had to give up.
And she felt Hanabi should have given up too.

7. Favorite actor of the year?
Ok besides brie??? this is hard because brie and captain marvel changed my life this year ahhh!!! ok ok ok ok ok I’ll think of someone else....I guess right now I’m getting lowkey into florence pugh! but also tessa thompson and jake gyllenhaal come into mind...god I’m really panicking not being able to say brie!!
14. Favorite book you read this year?
I didn’t read that many books this year, but I did read Room by Emma Donaghue (yeah obviously this was related to my brie themed year) but holy shit that book was so good! I think that story in general whether it’s the movie or the book have just stuck with me since I first saw the movie however long ago and I think about it a lot. Also Emma Donaghue is gay, so I bought some other books by her and I plan on trying to read more of her things...also I had to read one of her books for a women’s lit class in college and that’s cool.
Send me end of the year asks!
me to me: the anxiety is strong with this one
zealousheart replied to your post: Question, lovely: What makes you happy?
Cat person?
Eh, both really. I have a cat and two dogs, but my cat is a real momma's boy.
I'm also a ferret person, though I've never owned a ferret.
Avatar; Character you'd want as a BFF
TOPH. As if there were any question. ;)
Nejiten; punch
send me a naruto ship & a one word prompt:"You need to put more weight behind it," Neji admonishes as Tenten throws her fists at him.She retreats, panting. "Well, gee, sorry. I guess I don't have as much weight to throw as you, Mr. Well-Fed Tall Guy."The clan prodigy raises a perfect eyebrow at her. "Really, Tenten?" She huffs angrily and bends down to pick up her weapons. "We'll practice more later. Now we're going to get some food so I can put on some more weight to throw.Neji sighs as she stomps out of the training ground. "That's not what I meant."-x-At Ichiraku, Tenten works steadily on her second bowl of ramen, pointedly ignoring Neji and his comments about her salt intake. She's about to wave for a third bowl when she spots a sight that's enough to banish her appetite and sour the taste of noodles in her mouth. Two girls from their academy days are fast approaching the ramen stand, giggling and staring openly at Neji. Tenten's mouth twists in a scowl. The girls might not have made the cut as genin, but they still have looks and money and parents with well-known names. And as children their hobbies included tormenting an orphan Tenten. She almost feels sorry for Neji as they approach him shamelessly, but she's still sore about her inability to hit him hard enough, so she leaves him to their mercy. While eavesdropping, of course."Neji-kun, what a surprise! It's been so long since I've seen you."Tenten rolls her eyes so hard she nearly gives herself a headache. She doesn't have to turn around to know that the girl is batting her eyelashes hard enough to cause a gale or see the way she's pressed herself up against Neji's side. Her chopsticks crack in her grip.Neji responds with a polite greeting, as he was raised to do. No matter how obnoxious, he will never insult a lady. Unfortunately, this encourages them, and Tenten is forced to listen to their ridiculous fawning and flirting. In an effort to tune them out, in her head she counts the ways she could kill them with the weapons she has on her.It works quite well until she hears one of them mention something about marriage. Finally, she turns her head to observe."You know, Neji-kun," the taller one purrs as she attempts to crawl into his lap, "I heard that your uncle is looking for a suitable wife for you."The lower the girl's hand slides down Neji's person, the higher Tenten's eyebrows raise."My family has agreed that I'm of a marriagable age, and I think that I could make you...very...happy..."Her voice is low and sultry, but Tenten doesn't hear any of it because as her voice dips lower, so too does the girl's hand until she's petting a very inappropriate spot between Neji's legs. Tenten's vision swims in a sea of red."EXCUSE YOU," she roars. Her stool falls to the ground as her fist flies into the girl's face. A satisfying crunch topples the girl from Neji's lap and sends her sprawling on the floor. The girl looks up to scream at Tenten through a bloody, broken nose, but the look on the weapons mistress' face is enough to send her and her friend fleeing from the restaurant. She turns fuming to Neji, who's smirking at her. "Well, it looks like you finally got the hang of punching."In response, she punches him hard in the face, enough to leave a dark bruise on his cheek. "Ow, what the hell was that for?" He winces and nurses his aching face."THAT WAS FOR NOT PUSHING HER OFF, ASSHOLE." Tenten throws down some money and storms out of the ramen stand. Neji follows behind her, chuckling. "Well, I didn't think you'd wait that long to save me."Tenten crosses her arms as she walks away from him, hurling a shuriken at him for good measure. "Hmph, I'm not your girlfriend, you can do whatever you want."Neji catches up to her easily with long strides. "Well, what if I'd like to change that?"Tenten finally stops and narrows chocolate eyes at him. "Well, I don't."The Hyuuga rolls his own pupil-less eyes. "That's exactly why you punched her, right? AND me. You're a terrible liar, Tenten.""I am not!" she splutters, her face turning red.Neji leans down to kiss the tip of her nose. "You're cute when you're in denial."Tenten freezes for a moment, blinking at him. Then she relaxes and shrugs nonchalantly. "Well then, if this is going to be a thing, then I'm going to need more punching practice."Neji smirks. "Afraid more girls are going to grab my junk?"She snorts and punches him hard in the shoulder, causing him to stumble."No, it's for when you're being a dumb jerk." This time it's Tenten's turn to smirk.
