Echo-y indie-rock for my 9th FAWM song this year... Reminds me in some parts of Echo and the Bunnymen. :)
"Pictured Rocks" - Probably my favorite song that I have written for FAWM this year. It's a big 7 minute epic (as of now instrumental) that has some musical ties to bands like Cocteau Twins.
My second song for February Album Writing Month. A friend from FAWM added killer lyrics/vocals. :) Pretty different with pretty cool 'Portishead'-y kind of vibe. Oh, but what I wouldn't do for a set of Taurus Bass Pedals for this one.
Song #1 from this year's "February Album Writing Month". That's where you try to write 14 songs in the 28 days of February. It helps uncork your creativity... I wrote and recorded this one on Feb 1st until about midnight. Lots of 12 string guitars, both electric and acoustic, and since I was up late, I called it "12 O'Clock"
