WIP Word Train!
Rules: tagger gives a word, then for each letter of that word you share a sentence/excerpt from your wip(s) that starts with that letter.
I got unexpectedly, yet it isn't unwelcomed, tagged for this by @seecarrun, so thank you very much. The word being CHAOS.
C - Conway felt as though he was living a dream, he was in his heavily tinted room, shielded from the harsh morning sunlight surrounded by computer screens as he feverishly looked at the data he was getting from one of his girlfriend’s Pokéball’s...
H - “How I’m feeling…?” Ash shrugged, and looked distantly into the leaves and branches above. “Truth is I don’t know…Misty needs me to be strong, but honestly I feel so weak…and snapping at her wasn’t the wisest idea ever – I’m just glad she didn’t bite back even though she could’ve…it’s just as Iris once said to me,” went on Ash, laughing bitterly at the memory. “ ‘Ash,’ she told me, ‘the way you train is like you’re trying to forget about something. It’s like a temper tantrum you kid’ or whatever she meant, blast it all…”
A - “All right, all right...calm down,” grumbled Ash, as he tried to relax, shoving a gloved hand in front of her face. “It’s clear that you aren’t doing all that well. You’re struggling just to get the best out of your Pokémon.” As if that should’ve ever been a problem of yours… “Therefore,” continued Ash, “you should sit back and watch us train.”
O - “Of course that’s how it’ll work, Ashy-boy,” jeered Gary from nearby in the field. “Don’t think too much about it. You meet her, and BOOM, you have someone you love.”
S - She’d heard of a shortcut and thought she’d taken it but had ended up on a poorly maintained path which was decaying to nature. As she biked along, she soon came upon a crossroad. A male Trainer was already there looking up at a signpost. Misty slowed down for only a second to quickly scout the paths. A large distant willow tree to the west was a notable landmark on the map she studied, and she knew on seeing it that the second path to the left would take her to her destination. She sped past the boy without a second thought but-
Just to be a troll I won't elaborate on what project each snippet is from. Some of these have been sitting in my files for years untouched ._.
